Thought maybe one thread to keep a timeline as news breaks as we can keep up with story as it develops.
Isola loves to bring up phils contract as if somehow his pay should make him answer to the press.
My take is the line of fire is after a game the coach is the voice. Mills is the GM and Phil is the president.
That said, I would expect to hear from Phil last. The money has nothing to do with it or Dolan being upset.
Two weeks ago this franchise was doing just fine. What we at least know is the losing streak and defense breakdown has bubbled over.
Who and why/how this came about is a bit more apparent.
We all have some opinions, this makes it fun. After all if you can't have drama on the court, why not off it!!!
The Jax era has not been without its share! Melodrama is always with us, Fisher reported to be sleeping with his players wifes/Girls, and then "GovanGate", to his dismissal.
Rose is not exactly been a great guy but we welcomed him with open arms and thought all would be good as long as he is healthy.
The Sex Trial was ugly, but he was proved not liable in a civil suit. Don't mean he was innocent, but just not for MONEY.
I was hoping he could be the player who QB'd the triangle for us and moved this franchise forward. This is in jeopardy.

He kills his trade value and his contract leverage to make it a long drawn out thing.

And, for all we know, maybe his kid got sick, he melted down and just said "phuckit"?

We do indeed but nobody within the Knicks hierarchy gives a shit. Rose comes back with "things happen" not for a second thinking about the poor fans who spent hundreds of $ going to the game last night to watch a team with him in it who were clearly all over the place mentally. He has no regard for the people who contribute to his ridiculous salary. Likewise our franchise player, who many of us have had huge sympathy for in terms of what has been built around him has now been ejected 3 times this season with little to no regard for his team mates never mind the thousands of fans who have supported him through some very trying times.
Its a complete joke to be honest, there is no accountability in this ball club and we continue to stumble from one nightmare to next. A massive clear out is required before any real rebuilding will ever be achieved. Till then expect more of the same.

Absolutely staggering. We have young players like KP, Kuz, Baker etc and they are being influenced by this guy. There is no leadership or accountability whatsoever.
Some bad shet probably went down...At what point do we say the public needs to know or not..At some point we have to trust management that they know the appropriate measures to take given the circumstances...Be it fine or suspension..I really don't need to know the details as long as Phil thinks he understands the situation...It sucks but hey...

How bad was it that he's back in NY a few hours later? Seems like he threw a tantrum and came up with some family BS as an excuse- reporters tweets were saying his story didn't even fit with the teams official time line. Only way I'm okay with him not being suspended is if they are intending to trade him and don't want to decrease his value, so are covering up for him.

The Knicks have never received that "we deserve better" memo. They give us crap year after year and we eat it like its chocolate, until you see it only looks like it.

Thats we are a joke of an organization but cling to hope that Rose can keep this wreck of a train going somewhere because it went there at some point during the season but now is lost in the Twilight Zone.
Really, nothing with this franchise surprises me anymore. Its truly embarrassing.

There is no excuse for it. But i am sure Knicks staff told him since it was the first occurrence of anything like this, they will let him away with a fine. Obviously if it happens again, things would be different. This speaks to Rose's character as a whole, but i don't think we can really fault the Knicks for not throwing the book at him for a first-time issue.

Yeah, that seems to be the case. We might never know the exact issue, so we will reluctantly have to take them at their word that it was serious enough to not warrant more than a fine.
No way will they suspend Rose. They just lost to New Orleans --down by as much as 30 at HOME. They ve been getting wiped off the mat. No way will they injure themselves even to prove a point. This is a bad organization proven time and time again--they dont understand winning--they understand Dolanism--the desire to win at all costs but really never have a chance to do so. We got lucky 1 year and that is the model. We ignore all of the losing and why it happens.
Dont worry about tanking--this is a bad bad team--soft as heck--I mean these guys are pssies on the D---they dontb defend soft as butter and it isnt changing.
