Unfortunately, the rest of America never receive he proper education needed to succeed in life. Draymond and his peers are the few lucky ones who succeeded thanks to their athletic talent. Being gifted in sports, music and film doesn't make you a social justice warrior. Stop speaking out of turn with dangerous accusations, generalizations and false narratives. Think before speaking because your words as a public figure can do more damage than good. Draymond's words are irresponsible and dangerous to the uneducated especially in this current climate. Think
Of more positive ways to express yourself as a public figure.

Music has been used to express anger, rebellion, and social change. An actor or athlete can use their influence and public recognition to express themselves. As a Trump fan , you prefer to support an president who is very insecure with his stature, and whose arrogance exceeds his intellect.

But if Musicians can put into music the emotion of protest directed at trump, thats art. That moves people. Rock n' roll was about being rebellious, anger, love, social change an protest. Punk had a message. The blues is an expression. Jazz can be many things. NWA was effective not because of the shock value, but the music was good. It moved people.

Music has soundtracks for each generations and it gets personal. I hope many use their voice in their art for protest.

its not the perfect apology from green - technically its not even one. but at least he tried to clean up what he said (which was grossly irresponsible)

Some people have the inability to apologize. I guess he realized it was stupid(maybe not in his eyes) but in the public eye

Was Draymond Green off-base .. NO! especially if he had an all Black audience who experience the color discrimination everyday of their lives their parents lives, and their grand parent lives.

Throwing gas in the fire:

If a white man owns a business with mostly african amerians as its core talent, won't any conflict between employer and employee come accross as "slave master"?
Knicks have a history of treating some of its former players extremely well, and others bad. Marbury was treated awful, but it might have been with cause.
Isiah was worshiped by Dolan even after an 11million dollar lawsuit and a lifetime of humiliation. Dolan was awful to Larry Brown. Offered Donnie walsh less money so he'd leave.
Dolan is an equal opportunity arsehole. He does not see a man as black or white, he sees only insecurity!!!!!

Dolan is an piece of shit but racist or slave master mentality? I think that is way off base. There are times when that should be used. This isn't one of them. It's not like there is a history of Dolan being a racist. Draymond isn't even affiliated with the Knicks. He doesn't know Dolan. You don't just throw words around without knowing what you are talking about first hand. He should mind his business. Not all conflicts between race have to be racist. Oakley is an asshole too. Judging by his comments since the incident, he totally did something to help create that circus display in the garden.
