If Jrue is willing to take $100M/4 years with the 4th year being a team option, I think we could pull it off. Jrue has done very well with Anthony Davis, and I think he would fit well with KP and Willy. Obviously first is the draft, if the best player/talent is available is a point guard, we may be best served just re-signing Jennings and letting that point guard develop.

So first thing's first, lets see who we draft. Then what happens with a Melo trade. Then after that what's left over and what the roster looks like. Then you can see who we can target in free agency. Just hope that Phil has learned his lesson with Noah/Lee. While Lee was a good get, he is 30+. You won't get enough gas in the tank and defense with older vets. We ned to sign younger free agents. Players that will play defense.

Why would Jrue Holiday leave DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis again?

First we need to see them lose, or not do as well. I know many think that was a great move, but I kind of an suspect on whether Cousins/Davis will be a great team. Defensively I see issues. On offense it can work, but Cousins loves to hold the ball. He is like Melo for a big. He will not be an easy guy to insert. I'd be surprised if they made the playoffs.

And the main selling point as I mentioned would be playing with his brother, who we have the early bird rights to, and could keep.

He also was treated very well when his wife was ill by Nola. I don't think he leaves. Also, from a distance the Knicks dysfunctional. I don't know what Justin's opinion of the team is. He has played for other teams so he has some perspective on how organizations are run.

Frankly, I feel it is more likely Justin goes to New Orleans than vice versa.

if they were smart they would give JRue the huge deal on his bro signing for the MLE. Boogie/Brow and the Holidays is a solid start. Need more players though but it starts getting interesting

They would be over spending if they give the Holidays that. You can find Justin's for the vet minimum almost every year. Jrue Holiday is an injury risk but the Pelicans are in win now mode so I realize that they will likely give Holiday nearly 20m per. I like Holiday at his price and think he would actually look better of his FT%(69%) wasn't down this year.

That would be really bad. I am sure it will come out. A TWolves reporter tweeted that Thibs was meeting with reporters at 3:00. It has been five months to the day since Phil has met with reporters.

Ha, does anyone actually believe that? How does it make any sense- Thibs wanted to trade Rubio for Rose, Knicks backed down then he decided he didn't want to- why would anyone do that? Just made up stuff to give an anti Knicks spin.
