I do wonder what people get out of impersonating someone else on twitter - I get the comedy ones but the ones that play it straight and keep the act up for years- why?!

If Rockets would indeed do a Beverley for Shumpert deal --- it's possible since they may want ball in L-Williams hands now and Shump can give them a big defender.
This crazy 4 way deal works in checker.
Rose to Wolves Shumpert to Rockets Beverly/Melo to Cavs Love/Rubio to Knicks

I am off this week every year and I never get anything done.

Could we later parlay Ricky Rubio to the Kings for Darren Collision and a more moveable contract? Collision himself is an expirer and doubtful to re-sign with the Kings, so Rubio's 2 year deal would be appealing to a team that likely won't find a better replacement.

I wonder what Phil's game is here. Rubio is an upgrade plain and simple. He's a true PG. He's not nearly the terrible scorer people make him out to be. Its not his strength but his FG%s in the midrange game are respectable and he's a great assist guy and gets steals in bunches.
I really think he helps us on both ends. Rose is such a ball stopper like Melo, you just cant have two guys like that on the floor, its a terrible fit. I would be pretty pumped with a Rubio add. I would still want to draft a blue chip PG if we are lucky to go high enough. That being said I think there is a great market for KOQ this offseason and he would def fetch a mid-late #1 or a good wing.

I remember the Knicks thinking about him last year...He seemed to have some good games earlier in the year last season. I have not seen enough of him to really know if he is worth taking on.

I think Rubio's contract is going to look good moving forward a la Lopez. I like his defense. I like that he's pass-first. I don't know if Rubio is a triangle fit per say but I think he's a perfect fit for Horny. His d also would be welcomed here. I think he would be a fit. So with that said I guess I'm leaning towards adding his salary - but I'm not super pumped about it either
Rubio, who has obvious flaws, would be a decent transition player who might be helpful to the PG I assume we will be drafting this year.
Rubio is a younger Calderon, with not as good a shot and slightly quicker feet on Defense. Would rather trade Rose for picks or Jackson.
you couldnt pick two players more unalike. Rubio and Jose have nothing in common except their native tongue
they are the same in the fact that neither can come close to Rose's penetration, and they are far from aggressive when it comes to offense.
Last season everybody on this board wanted nothing more then a guy that can get to the basket and finish like rose, now you got one of the best in the league and ya'll can't wait to get rid of him.

This was a week ago....
He has some European highlights that are electric... the guy has high offensive awareness. Reminds me of Shved with how he was buried on the bench for no good reason
