There goes what little hope he had of a big contract. After spending all season not playing defense or fighting through picks to avoid getting injured and ruining his chance at a big contract, it must be really hard for him...

agreed not that phil would have signed him anyway. I feel bad he is injured but at the same time it shows why signing him would have been a huge mistake

Yeah, there's no way I wanted him back, but I'd have liked to see him land somewhere for a decent contract. It's frustrating to be derailed by something out of your control.

I feel bad for any athlete who gets hurt. At the same time, I'm glad this pretty much guarantees we won't find out if Phil would have brought Rose back. More reason to look forward for the answer at PG, not the past.

I'm hoping for this team drafting our own young STUD PG. This team needs a legit floor leader so badly. Hopefully the decision is made for the Knicks with some luck in the Lottery where they have no choice but to take the right player.
