I guess he's out of the picture
CrushAlot @ 4/2/2017 1:18 PM
Ouch. That sucks.
CrushAlot @ 4/2/2017 1:20 PM
I wonder if the Knicks would consider waiving him to pick up Terrence Jones, Stuckey or a d leaguer.
nixluva @ 4/2/2017 1:21 PM
Man! I actually feel bad for him. He almost made it thru the season without a serious injury and this being a Free Agent summer. SMH.
smackeddog @ 4/2/2017 1:22 PM
There goes what little hope he had of a big contract. After spending all season not playing defense or fighting through picks to avoid getting injured and ruining his chance at a big contract, it must be really hard for him...

Yeah. He worked really hard to get back to where he was this year.

Bullet dodged
Uptown @ 4/2/2017 1:24 PM
Damn..That really sucks for him! On the court, he had a nice bounce back season...
magicTs @ 4/2/2017 1:24 PM
No man can escape karma's wrath.
BRIGGS @ 4/2/2017 1:25 PM
Wow that's going to cost tens of millions

agreed not that phil would have signed him anyway. I feel bad he is injured but at the same time it shows why signing him would have been a huge mistake

I actually think there was almost no chance Phil was gonna bring him back. Rose showed he could still play but just not worth the cost to the Knicks IMO.

Yeah, there's no way I wanted him back, but I'd have liked to see him land somewhere for a decent contract. It's frustrating to be derailed by something out of your control.

I feel bad for any athlete who gets hurt. At the same time, I'm glad this pretty much guarantees we won't find out if Phil would have brought Rose back. More reason to look forward for the answer at PG, not the past.

I'm hoping for this team drafting our own young STUD PG. This team needs a legit floor leader so badly. Hopefully the decision is made for the Knicks with some luck in the Lottery where they have no choice but to take the right player.

EnySpree @ 4/2/2017 1:38 PM
So I think it's safe to say he's outta here

this is why you don't pay guys with a long injury history, such as rose. you were foolishly advocating signing him.

Bonn1997 @ 4/2/2017 1:43 PM
Sucks for him. Also hurts our tanking prospects.
crzymdups @ 4/2/2017 1:48 PM
Dang, I feel bad for him.
EnySpree @ 4/2/2017 1:48 PM
What a fucking year... I feel Noah, Rose and Melo are our last bit of bad Karma... im expecting nothing but blue skies the rest of the way
