This is insane.

Calm down. Amare, David Lee... nuff said. I don't need "but he's a two way player" argument. It's not real.

And yes I would trade KP for Boston's pick... but I would need a sweetener... like maybe a future pick or their top second round pick this year #36...

Knicks have Willy... they could add Fultz and Issacs... Nigel williams-goss 🔥🔥🔥... fuck it.

But that's only if there really was a riff...

You calm down. Amare for half a season, and David Lee was a stat padding beyotch in NY. Your approach to team building is unreal. Lets trade everyone who doesnt want to play the Triangle. Whoever is left, the team president will be more than happy to call out in public if they dont play it well enough. There's a plan.

Anybody mention the triangle?

Team players... not selfish players. Team players play for the team... selfish players play for themselves. We lost because all of our best players were selfish...

If you have professional hardworking players buying into a team concept.... You have wining basketball. We didn't have that... That's losing basketball. So we're rebuilding... KP is very much a part of that, but if the dude is a developing diva or allowing Melo to influence his g'night process then yes he should go. None of that is confirmed. Just school girl whispers.

Team basketball... that's all I want. The word triangle is the ribbed dildo of every Knicks haters wet dream. When is it going to be about the Knicks? The team? Why did people want to put players above that?

So do we fire everyone in management again just to jerk Melo off for his last 2-3 years playing at a high level? Who are we going to get here between now and next off season? Will Mark Jackson be enough to lure players in like a catch a predator episode? Will a "young spurs executive" in tight wet sweatpants be enough to lead the Knicks?

Simply.... the Knicks need hard working professionals... leaders. Winners... no matter who is in Charge we need that. No matter who is coaching, there needs to be a team driven sysyem in place... 😘

School girl whispers, right. The same guy who kept saying there wasnt any drama on the Knicks all season until KP confirmed it, not that he had to. You've been wrong too many times to be starting up again with this shit.

I didnt want Melo back for the max, and not with an NTC. You're asking Melo and everyone else to master a system that should be taught by Phil Jackson, not someone with no experience with it, and certainly not with one of the worst coaches in NBA history as his asst. Phil Jackson had a HOF coach who invented the Triangle, who was there with him every step of the way. Phil is in his own little world if he thinks Rambis can perform the same function.

This is the main reason the roster is being flushed every year, not Melo. You let Hornacek coach the way he wants, and this team will do a lot better, and thats something to build on.

As I said before, if its this fing hard to find players for a boutique system (thats what the Triangle is in today's NBA) then its time to find another system. 3 years to put together a team, and we're back to square one again. You talk about all this like its a plan, Phil never planned to be racking up 50 plus loss seasons, and no playoffs. Which means he is doing something wrong.

Hell, if we're going back down memory lane, we might as well go back to Red Holzman. I remember lots of ball movement, and great D. Putting the Triangle before Porzingis is crazy. No other team in the league would do something like this, and for good reason. Its shortsighted and the Triangle will be in the dustbin of Knick history in 2 years. Then we're going to have to start again from scratch.

You really want Rose back and KP gone? I cant believe anyone believes this is a good idea.

If we got this year's number one and another 1st round pick for KP, I would consider it. We can add Futz and Tatum or Josh Jackson and Fox or that French kid. That would be a solid start with Willy. PLus we get 4 years of rookie contracts, as opposed to two more with KP.

Contrary to the above, I have no doubt (as in not one iota) that we could get the number 1 pick and then some from Boston.

The current NBA marketplace does not care how you feel. Nor does it care how I feel.

What matters comes down to

1) League trends
2) Positional Value
3) Cost control cycle
4) Marketing considerations, including possible ownership, corporation sponsor and fan and media backlash
5) Precedent regarding NBA trades and draft history in the modern era

You could be Lestat the hippy fruit loop vampire rock star and have lived in Boston for 300 years, it really doesn't change that the NBA has a market environment like any other group structure moving some commodities and that this specific market, like all others, WILL NATURALLY SEEK TO CORRECT ITSELF.

The No#1 overall pick in this draft is worth more than Zinger alone in a potential trade. The first overall NBA pick is rarely ever traded ( Andrew Wiggins and Chris Webber in the modern era) Both cases held some very specific and unique circumstances. Both hold weight in how future No#1 picks are valued, in the rare case they are traded.

I would agree that he has started to imitate his mentor Melo, and Rose- started chucking up bad shots, complaining, not playing defense. Skipping the exit interview was a leaf out of Rose's book when he went back to Chicago mid season.
