I can't imagine how confusing and chaotic the world must be for someone who genuinely believes the Knicks selected a draft based on who they thought the next team wanted.

Come on, ppl. For all the turmoil with Phil, KP and Melo, lets remember a pick wont be made because anoter team wanted the player. NY scouted this kid and were high on him. If the Mavs wanted Smith, congrats. We got our lan and he seems like a very intriguing prospect.

Smith, is an explosive lead guard who can score the ball and is a prototypical guard in today's NBA. When you are picking this low, pick the best prospect available...I felt Smith was the best available and he fills a need at pg...
