this is a no other option signing, he shot 38% fg, and like 32% from 3..and has been on like damn near every team in the league

It will be a good move for the knicks because it's low-key. The big splash stuff doesn't work out well here, but this is a low-expectation, bargain move.

Thing is Tanking Will depend on what the Knicks get for Melo. It's not a forgone conclusion. This does seem to indicate that the Knicks are probably done negotiating. A vet PG seems to indicate Nitty is staying IMO.

Want to bet? Once we're shot of melo (we aren't getting anything of significance back), we have a terrible roster. Our youngsters are going to need a few years.

Yeah it's almost like some are expecting another 17 win season. I don't see this team being bad enough to get a top 5 Lotto spot. Depends on what happens with Melo.
