Do any of these guys have any value. I can't understand why any of these guys can't be package for an upgrade.
To me it seems like everyone's value on this team took a major hit last season, not just melo.
1)Jennings just signed a 1 yr deal in china
2)Rose took a 90% pay cut at 27 yrs old
3)the rockets offering trash for melo (who was a all star last season)
4)Noah had other offers besides the knicks last season, but we signed him to a NTC with out an actual NTC
5)lee also had multiple teams interested last off season
6)kuz name hasn't even come up in any conversation whatsoever and he'll be 28 this yr
7)Lance- see kuz
8)KOQ seems like a throw in regarding any trade

We should be even better this year and hopefully will get another young talent.
This was a plan all along and we should continue with it for another 1-2 years.
Then we will have assets to stay and form a Team or trade to do same.

Hold up! Ewing was 23 in his rookie year. KP hasn't even hit 22 yet.

Many teams have supper-star players developed by winning 20 or less games.
What this has to do with how many games team win in any given season?
Winning in NBA is product of many factors.
I am sometimes wondering if you are 3rd-grader or what.
Unfortunately the prime time of Knicks team is not correlated to you fan rooky years.
Hopefully when you will grow up the team will be in its prime too...

I like Kuz but that dude came to the league WAY TO LATE. You can tell he has skills but he had a terrible time adjusting to the NBA. Hope we keep him for the long haul, though. I think once he figures it out, he would be a solid 6-7 man off the bench.
Lee, O'Quinn and Lance are all bench players. 8-10 on the rotation chart, imo.

This what rebuilding team need in early ears of team building with youth.
This is in fact the biggest value this players have for us.
It takes great professionalism to take all this losing watching organization and team grow.
But this is how a lot of great bbal people established themselves for post player carriers.
Not every NBA player can get enough money to be set for life.
The best organizations are build on mutual interest and mutual respect.
Those guys have a little value. Not much. The only way you could get something better than them back in a trade is if you took worse contracts. Or you could trade them for picks and rebuild.

Knicks lost the 1st 8 games Ewings rookie yr. How did he carry them from day 1? Need more than 1 player. Really only player I saw that changed a team by himself was Larry Bird.
