thats asking alot tho with Parsons contract....or #9 and Noah for that package makes since both has 2 years left on their deal

Parsons makes 23 mil for two more years. The Lakers had to trade the former #2 to move on from moz. They got a late first back but Parson's contract is worse.

They also got back Brook Lopez in the deal. Hardaway jr & #9 is a good deal for both teams desires.

That's one of the most lopsided trade proposals I have seen in a while. THJ is about to enter his prime, with a very (hopefully) good coaching staff on deck, and a #9 pick that could be just (if not better) than a 4th pick. Trust me, They will never give up that pick without unloading Parsons.

The deal that still makes the most sense for each team (if Doncic is there) is #4 and Parsons and #9, Lee, Thomas, and Mudiay. Memphis wants to win right away and can get an NBA ready player at #9 in Bridges or Carter. Lee can gives them a starting SG or 6th man, Mudiay gives them a backup PG on an expiring deal and Thomas gives them a backup rotation forward on an expiring deal. Knicks get to build around KP, Frank, Doncic, and Hardaway.

Was a continuation of what was posted in the NBA draft talk thread. The deal isn't to just get the #4 pick. It would be to secure Doncic if he became available at #4. Hardaway jr & #9 for Parsons and Doncic.

Parsons contract runs out the same time as Lee, Noah etc. Thus allowing us to get a possible franchise stud and free up max cap space available in 2020. Hardaway Jr is replaceable with that massive amount of cap coming in 2020 in order to secure Doncic.

They would want a deal that gets them into the playoffs. They aren't looking to just dump a contract, but secure proven talent. Don't know if Lee & Bridges entices them enough. Mudiay & Lance offer nothing but salary dump that they still would have to pay for the year. Don't think thats what they are looking for.

I know you posted this the other day. Tommy Beer wrote an article today with basically the same trade proposal. I know he included 36 in his trade.

I would delay free agency for the opportunity to build around Porzingis, Doncic, and Frank. I'll only do that deal if Doncic is on the board. He's the perfect wing when Frank is the PG. It gives us 2 playmakers. Then 2020 should be time to sign a real difference maker. But that core of KP, Frank, and Doncic with all draft picks going forward (and Hardaway as a quality placeholder at SG) is a great start here.
Cant see Doncic being there, but if he fell I would give up a future #1 with top 3 lotto protection. Doncic is a generational talent

I am in this boat as well. I would hope for this to happen. Wouldn't do it got Marvin Bagley or Bamba but if Doncic falls, I'd say go for it. The kings seem to want Porter, maybe the trade down as well? Or pick him at 2?

The Kings would be retarded to pass on Doncic, but they are. Doncic is just too good.. Knicks getting him is a pipedream but who knows.

The Kings are definitely retarded and it's stil a pipe dream. But what's a guy to do?
