is that really the timetable you’re working off? for me it’s being a .500 team next year (which we haven’t been in a long time), a solid playoff team the next, and an ECF team the following.

Fiz inherited Timmy. Losing situation but if he is confident yoot getting reps is the key to the future I’m good with that. Can’t see it, taste it or touch the future.

True. We have had many guys sit for a few games. Mudiay,Burke,Frank,Dotson all went through it and they NEVER complained, they put the team first. I guess i bought into Kanter when he seemed like a team leader but obviously that was nonsense

Contract year verbal boast. Posting Doubles on a winning team is not the same as basement dwelling. YOur picking sides with Kanter because you want fodder for your anti FO agenda.
And once again, Kanter opted to return for $18mm. Knicks did not offer to extend he or have him opt out and do a long term deal. He said he wanted to be here. Did knicks tell him he was wanted beyond the contract? He was trade fodder for Melo. He as moved from Utah and OKC for Melo who was a disaster for OKC and Rockets. Deal with the the reality. Knicks are not ruining his value. Every team has tape on his defense. His play values and devalues.

If your averaging 14.8pts 10.8rbs on 54% shooting and the coach is benching you in a contract year when you’re playing your best basketball at 26 years old it’s not your obligation to be quiet if the team wants to loose games and play someone that got called up from the D league. Can’t fault the guy.
