It's been reported Porzingis told the Mavs he would only sign the QO, which was probably what he intended to do with the Knicks anyway, which in turn scared the Knicks, who knew already there was trouble in paradise with Janis and Porzingis.

I mean, this only shows Porzingis seems to have a set plan that might not even include the Mavs.

True. He can walk after signing the 1 year QO. If that happens then this deal can be huge for us now and the future

Imagine if after next season he says bye bye Mavs, hello Knicks!

If that happen they would install a rule change the next CBA.

Agreed. Mudiay is gonna a raise which he deserves but both frank and dsj are on rookie deals and both bring different elements on both sides of the ball. I really like Mudiay and i feel he will go somewhere and do pretty good

Sounds about right for rebuild timeline we have in front of us.
This picks will be in 20-30 range so I guess it is not so important protected they or not.
