Could see that they had a deal open on the table and once KP had the meeting they pulled the trigger

I am expecting Frank or Mudiay to be moved.

Watching "The Michael Show" right now. They like the trade. They think something is up with KD and another FA. They don't like Janis.

18 mil THJ, 11 mill Lee 18 mill knter
thats 47 mill in cap, dallas couldn't cover that
the knicks didnt even seek other offers...just a dumb fckn FO
you realize this likely makes us a little better this year making our lottery pick worse ..... why would two top FA's sign onto a team that has nothing? are you banking on getting Zion? hahahhahhahahahahahhah

your going to cry a river when they trade frank
So hard to be a Knicks fan. Well at least I root for one organization that knows what they are doing in the Yankees

But it doesn’t explain why we dealt him to the mavs and why so quickly- before any other team got chance to make an offer and before the AD situation was sorted. It’s just bizarre

A glut of PGs who aren’t very good

Frank/Smith might be a really good back court. Frank doesn’t need the ball and it moves when he is on the court. Matthews lit up the Knicks last night. Some of it was the Knicks bad d. I wonder if he starts or if the Knicks go all youth. Also, do any either of Matthews or D J get moved before the deadline?

Sorry Rainman i dont have the same obsession you have with Frank. My reasoning is logical. Mudiay is a RFA up for a raise. Frank is on a rookie contract and one of the few who defends. I mean lets be honest DSJ got a triple double mostly because nobody guarded him at all
CrushAlot wrote:martin wrote:I was thinking the same:
I also heard he might sign a 1 and 1 with another team so he can get paid and be a free agent in a year.
Kept saying that this is the trend. Guys know they will make hundred of millions no matter what. They have all the chips.
A team can no longer count on a superstar lasting more than a couple of years. Makes it hard to want to continue to be a NBA fan. What BS. We finally draft someone with star potential and we lose him before he can fully develop. Its clear that KP told them he wants a trade. No way the Knicks do this deal without KP forcing the issue. I mean, you could have replaced Frank with KP and a second rounder and Cuban would have done the deal. This is crazy.

Our backcourt is trash, there is no glut. The first guy who is any good will get 40 mpg

Agreed. I admit i have never been a big DSJ but i think their styles can balance out the other.

For their sake it may be better. I have been praising Perry for a year and they pull this
Serves you right. Never understood why people blindly supported he and Perry when neither demonstrated to be competent at their jobs before or during their tenure here.
Fuck this. Time to hit the scotch.

I am not a fan of points that require the ball but on this team that might work because this team is a dumpster fire
Let’s hope the new players don’t mess up the lotto order.
