Let’s hope the new players don’t mess up the lotto order.

Really liked DSJR. Gonna be hard to root for him after the Knicks F..ked things up like this. Wanted to hear that it was KP who forced their hand. But still have to blame the Knicks/Dolan/Mills. KP obviously saw what every other player that has played here saw. Dysfunctional joke of a franchise.
This trade will either make or break this administration, Gotta see f they can land 2 max free agents, if not back to balookaville.
Could you imagine David Robinson acting like KP did when the Spurs tanked for Tim Duncan that year David was injured? I am surprised how unbothered I am by the trading of KP. I just wish we got back more for him.

For their sake it may be better. I have been praising Perry for a year and they pull this
Serves you right. Never understood why people blindly supported he and Perry when neither demonstrated to be competent at their jobs before or during their tenure here.
Serves me right? First of all i never praised them. I simply gave them credit for prior moves. This move i hate and have expressed that

Porzingis has never been fully commited to winning in NY and has already had a scary knee injury. Next year lineup can be promising : 2 max FA, our 1st rd pick (top 3 ?), Knox and Ntilikina (our latest two 1st round picks). Add Dennis Smith Jr. as 6th man and our other young players, and that might be the best Knicks team in decades.
Our lineup next year is more like this
Muiday
DSJr
Knox
Vucevic
draft pick guy

why trade him to the first team you called then? doesn't it seem weird to avoid building a market?
What's the market on teams that have that much expiring and assets to come Knicks way?

If he was good for 8 or 9 RPG I would feel way worse
that said, I don't see how you're not bothered by how all this shook out

Know is not looking like a future "STAR" he's banking we get 2 MAX FA's, there's no incentive for top players to come here...and out best chance of getting Zion is 14%? so what if Knox is average, we sign 2 average players(panic after top FA say NO WAY losers) to max deals and we end up drafting Bol Bol ... So much of what he says this being the best day for Knicks fans is the longest of shots?
Wow. I'm kinda in the camp that KP told the Knicks he wanted out. They've probably made a very smart trade - got some assets back in terms of the players, freed up cap space.
I was hesitant to pay KP big money with his history of wearing out after 20 games. I wish him luck in Dallas.

How many front offices get the chance to not only sign those players, but then trade their best player and max-worthy player to undo their mistakes?
NYKBocker wrote:Watching "The Michael Show" right now. They like the trade. They think something is up with KD and another FA. They don't like Janis.
The NY media loves to talk about "Maybes". Problem for us fans is that this is all talk and now more than ever there is no reason for good players to want to come here. We just lost the only reason for to come here.

I am in this boat. Also, I didn’t think I could dislike a team more than the Celtics but the Mavs might be that team now.
Ok I'm gonna go there. KP had a crappy, entitled attitude. Remind you of any other of our ex-players? Melo as Grima Wormtongue?

It's like that at 8pm for me every day
Also this coming NBA draft is not deep
WTF!?? Wooow KP + Doncis = championship in Dallas! Sad day for Knicks....

I was getting that vibe as well. Might be the only reason I am not performing Harakiri right now.

But it doesn’t explain why we dealt him to the mavs and why so quickly- before any other team got chance to make an offer and before the AD situation was sorted. It’s just bizarre
