He’s terrible and all, but let’s chill
Here's the problem...Dolan had to open his fat mouth and say (I'm paraphrasing), "we have a good chance at landing top free agents this summer." Everyone knew who he was talking about. also, there is the infamous letter sent to ticket holders. Why put that out there?! Especially when Perry and Mills, all along have being saying that we are rebuilding with youth, etc. If he never would have started that narrative, I dont think we get killed as much.
Get a grip, when did Dolan become Nostradamus? He fully expected to contend for a healthy KD, so did the Knicks FO. He made the right decision in treating it as a business risk decision and made the right choice.
This team is in great shape - no more stupid, Pyrrhic signings.

These players are not choosing teams, they're choosing business partners. The coming Alibaba billionaire is why KD signed there - nothing else.

Hehe. Jordan will make the Nets better - maybe he’ll also assist with Allen’s dev in a similar way he did with Mitch. I’ve been mixed with Kyrie. If I were building a team, I would have preferred Russell - but the Nets got the package deal, and Russell gets a shot to play with Curry, a guy he was often compared to pre-draft.

Yeah because we'll be 1 -30
And on our way to one more lotto pick!

I am not sure how much this mattered. I am concerned with his barring the Daily News from press conferences. Not a fan of the Daily News Knick coverage but the press travels in packs and they rallied around Bondy and made it a national story. Not a stretch to think that the coverage of the Knicks would be more negative nationally in support of a colleague. The Knicks have acted responsibly in their approach to team building since Perry has been here. You would not know it if you watch espn or read most of the sports pages.

Dear Mr. Dolan,
Thank you. But next time no need to say you weren't willing to give the max, it's not a good look. But it was a good decision.
Signed,
A Knicks Fan

Durant choose an opportunity. It’s not where the nets are, but where can he take them.
