So I guess we are not absorbing contracts with picks attached. Alrighty then. Welcome to NY!! Let's kick some ass!
Terrible contract. Can't wait to stretch him to sign "Fill in blank here"

That’s a $20m a year deal. 50M in cap space left
three years?! so much for not overpaying for mid tier free agents

True that. Let's see what happens next.
3 years is good. As plan Bs go, this one isnt a cap killer. We needed help at the 4, thats what we got. Might not have been my first choice, but not upset about a frontline of Mitch/Randle.
HUGE get. Fills a big need. Fits the timeline. Nice job.
I fucking love this. Yes, he's flawed, but he's young and had a 21.0 PER. He is a massive upgrade over what we have

It's only 3 years....he's 24 years old...i like it...Dude is a bulldog!

2 years would of been good 3 is pushing it.
We finally got ZION (minus the hops says Kanter)!!
If he remembers how to play defense, then he would be an upgrade over Voleh. The Knicks seem to continue to get defense adverse players but he is probably as good as we could have hoped for at PF position.

Need to get a backup center for foul-prone Mitch....I would look to Miami to get Whiteside and a 1st round pick. He comes off the books this summer. Will give the the Heat the space to go after Butler.

agreed. we have to punt for 2021 and need that space for then. two years to build a culture like the nets so we can be more attractive.

Doesn’t 3 years give us his bird rights, I really like randle that’s a great signing.

He is a frontcourt player that provides no outside shooting or rim protection. Do you guys want to win or lose a ton of games watching double doubles. Didnt you just watch Kanter do the same thing?

His production last season probably made the extra year necessary. Just happy it isnt max years or dollars.

Agreed....a 24 years old bulldog who plays bully ball. These are the type of signings we need to make.
