I really don’t want to hear what SAS has to say about all of this. I assume it will be like taking a stroll in a dark alley way covered with broken glass while wearing no shoes and a bunch of thugs are coming right for you. Something like that.

Yes of course its a big deal if the 2nd year is optional, and to my knowledge it is not reported, as of yet. However, even 10 million for 1 year is more than Taj should get.

Absolutely terrible deal. He was finished two years ago.

There were better options out there.

Thank god we cleared Hardaway and Lee for Taj Gibson.

Gibson has playoff experience, knows what it takes to get there. As others have pointed out, good player to show the younger players the ropes. Looks like Perry is trying to find players who wont take minutes from our recent draft picks Complimentary players to the current roster.

Not a big fan of this signing as I would have preferred BPortis.
But solid citizen, vet presence and experience are attributes.

Gibson, 34, averaged 10.8 points and 6.5 rebounds this past season for the Minnesota Timberwolves. He shot 56.6 percent from the field.
