he took his confidence Vitamins, was more aggressive (you know the games you see and wonder why they are so far and in between) and he had one of the sweetest pick & roll passes to Taj i have seen all season from any player in the league. Makes you scratch your head, like this can't be the norm

The last bit of hope is that he was adjusting to Miller and was heisitant because of it. But Miller is coaching him up and he is getting more comfortable.

But there is a very very strong possibility he is an enigma

From what I can see he does everything better regardless on numbers shown.
Frank is not going to come into his prime fast. He will be normal 25-26 years old when his complete game will show up.

you either are shaking your head or scratching it.
We do the same things with our Ass's.
Its called potential. he is inconsistent. The roster is inconsistent. The coaches are inconsistent.
Frank seems to do well when others move without the ball. If we go to iso, then payton probing and passing off works better for his skill set.
This is where Dennis is suppose to be.
Nalod's book of wisdom defines "Guards are Guards".........The better players have more tools to contribute. The best play multiple positions. Jordan was a 3, a 2 and in crunch time the PG cuz he had the dam ball. Who cares who brings it up unless your in transition uptempo.
That said I believe

Mitch is the 5.....
Morris is a stretch 4. 6-10 and can guard the position.
RJ/Knox Neither is complete. RJ not good enough shooter to play the 2 at the moment. I see him as an elite 3. He is 19. A young 19.

I'll call for Morris to be traded. We need an active market for him to derive value. Clipers need him to ease the minutes of Leonard/George. Lakers need him to combat those two and need a stretch 4 who can shoot better than Kuzma. The money

The back court is a hot mess. RJ is there because he should be playing. I'd rather him off the bench but we suck enough to let him have big minutes and let him play thru it. Im ok here.
As for the guards, nobody is a "future foundational player". Frank at 21 should come off the bench because we should have better offensive choices. That's the mess. Dennis is a disaster we have to hope works itself thru. I won't right him off because I dont' know whats wrong with him.

The back court is a gotdamn mess. RJ is there because he should be playing somewhere. I'd rather him off the bench but we suck enough to let him have big minutes and let him play thru it. Im ok here.

Morris game is not 4. He is Carmelo light with better defense but average mid-range game.
Same as Melo he is a bit slow for 3 and not big enough for 4.
Randle is true 4 in every respect. The quality is another story. He is no superstar but quality starter.
RJ can be anything but it depends heavily on his shooting progression.
Same goes for Frank but his issue is he is not attacking penetrating PG. He never be fast and shifty enough.
The roster is full of players who are not developed or required special role.
It is hard to impossible to construct optimal roster from this kind of pieces.
The rebuild is definitely start picking up some speed but it is just the very beginning.

Lakers are playing Kuzma as a stretch 4 and he is dinged up. He is smaller than Morris. Kuzma is not shooting the long ball well.
Lakers are in Win NOW mode. The money is an issue for any trade but Im looking at fit.
Lakers need what they need to face Philly, Boston and clippers. If Clippers want Morris its a bigger problem for the Lakers, and visa versa.
You want an active market for a players value to go up. Its what the other teams to win now that matters and what they do with the player.

You put Morris with the Lakers and it's game over. Just give them the title.

If that's what they need, if that's what they think, then there is a price to pay. One we will pay. For now, make us an offer we can't refuse!!

Kuzma will do it for us... Perfect for our time line.
Looks good for Lakers and Morris can get a chip in LA.
What junk we will need to take to match the salary?

Caldwell-Pope and Kuzma for Morris probably works contract wise. I would be greedy and ask for a 2nd rounder as well 🤗

So True .. Trading Morris to the Lakers .. Hell NO!

From career experience .. Payton's best winning performance are bringing energy off the bench as a decent role-playing PG.
The LA Clippers coach Doc know he get better winning results when he bring scoring-star player Lou Williams off the bench rather than have Lou in the starter lineup.
2nd season MitchRob may not like it, but he do play a better dominating performance coming off the bench having veteran Payton leading the point for quick pickNrolls.
The Knicks FO should've given starter center DeAndre Jordan an extension last season.

What's best for the Knicks now are to leave pass-first Frank in the starter lineup, until how long it takes for our new interim coach Mike Miller to put together a decent performing team-ball Starter 5 lineup out of 6 Knick players on the roster.

I rather our RAW rookie RJ Barrett have a high IQ Vet Marcus Morris as a teammate the next 2 to 3 seasons, rather than spend the next 2 or 3 season surrounded by low B.ball !Q teammates like Kuzma Knox and Randle.

Bball IQ is not growing on the trees. It is getting attained by playing basketball.
Young players need time to mature. Some are helpless zo... but how you would know without trying?

I'm not sure these three lack BBIQ.

Kuzma is a player worth trading for IMO.

Randle's problem is Randle. He is what he is and unfortunately is in love with what that is. Under Miller and a coach's mandate to "cut that sh@t out!", he's salvageable.

Knox is just (understandably but frustratingly) young and distracted.
