Awful.
Just awful.
This is another guy Perry was enamored with.
Perry’s eye does talent is truly terrible.

Honestly it wouldn't hurt to trade for monk look at our point guard situation sucks dsj and frank aren't doing anything well this season .

Monk is not a point guard and is a below, average inefficient player, much like the guys you mentioned and much like the guys the front office continues to chase.
We seem to love players who aren't good at anything

Actually I think it was Mills who wanted to draft him (Phil was in charge at the time)

Ah yes, you’re right.
2 peas in a pod - Perry and Mills.

Well..I thought the knicks shouldve drafted him. He would fit in next to DSJ....another guy the knicks rated high on their draft report.

These clowns just scout the league for under achieving players who have been harboring in a losing environment..
Monk is shooting 25% from 3..WTF
Love the Mills hate from anger on a loose blog connection........
Tell you what, they trade for him then I'll get mad.
Rather have Frank.
Y'all just on fire about him! WE actually have a legit quote that ties Mills to Monk?
What about we bring in Monk, then bring in Calipari to coach all his under achieving one and dones?
Interesting. Would they trade Frank or DSJ straight up? Both work salary wise.
You know malik monk has 14 games of scoring over 10 points this season , you guys know how many game franks and dsj have scoring 10 pts or more combine 11, 7 for frank and 4 for dsj not good. Malik monk is third point guard in charlotte because DEVONTE' Graham and terry rosier are having career season both are averaging close to 18 points game. Devonte graham is averaging 18.6 points and 7.7 assists and terry rosier is averaging 17.9 points and 4.4 assist. Its very hard for monk to get off bench because charlotte backcourt is having a career year. Malik Monk is averaging 8.4 points, 2 assists, and 2.6 rebound on 42 percent shooting and 25 percent from three. While frank is averaging 6 points, 3.1 assists, 2.2 rebounds, on 37 percent and 31 percent from three. Dsj is averaging 5 points, 2.6 assists, and 2.2 rebounds on 32 percent and 29 percent from three. Malik Monk is better then frank and dsj despite being the third point guard on the charlotte hornets roster.

I think dsj would go to charlotte because its home state is north carolina and he is 3 hours away from fayettiville nc his home town.

That might be a good trade. Both can see if they can fix the other's mistake.
Good project for both teams. Guys can underperform in different situations for different reasons and a change of scenery can help.
feels like change for change's sake... aka the plan for those without a plan

Frank and DSJr are on their rookie contracts as well, there is a benefit to trading for another player on a rookie deal. The question is Monk worth it? Some folks feel strongly that the answer is no. Might be right. Would also be very disappointed if Frank's shooting still is way off, and Smith cant string together games at least like his rookie season. The question is when do you cut bait, if there isnt real improvement from either player?

bingo
Just like Mud and Mario..

Unless its for DSJ then it tells me they really dont like him and just want to move on. No Dolan regime has ever judged this well so who the f knows

This. Not sure. If Monk finds his shot he would look good next to either DSJ or Frank. Not sure if either Frank or DSJ can improve their games to be good enough to be in a rotation on a decent team at this point. DSJ did look quicker last night and the eye test says Frank is more aggressive, in the paint more and taking his shot more frequently.
i keep Frank. Worst case is Frank is our flavor of Marcus Smart. Each play winning basketball but are extremely frustrating with their non-existent or inconsistent offense. I also hold out hope that Frank will find some offense
DSJ is another story. I would trade him almost as a favor to him to get him out of NY glare and back home; he is struggling mentally and mightily
Also i have to imagine things are only going to get worse because this offseason we have to be thinking of drafting or otherwise getting a pg who can actually shoot: we have 3 pg and not one can be counted on to hit an open shot -- can't make this up
Having said all of that, Monk?
