Not saying it doesn't hurt the Knicks. They are held to a higher standard in the media, meaning they get more media attention. But free agents in July absolutely do not care what happened between Dolan and Spike Lee in march. Unlike us "ride or die" types if that's the category I fall into, you guys get sucked into the media crap way too much. That's your category I guess. You call it delusion on my end. none! however I think its more about how the team has had a negative stench around it for a generation now and this is just a drop in the bucket. like I said, we have to operate as a small market team and build up assets to make trade or develop our own stars. free agency for us is a myth.

Contract, players, coach and how a team takes care of its players.
We are not intimate with why KP left. He also had off court issues that dragged the team into.
Lets assume KP had a legit beef. Has the problem been resolved as not to repeat. Both presidents and the coach are gone.

Exactly right. While this is damaging to the team (more of the same), it has zero impact on free agents.

They care about MONEY! the big stars care about trying to get a ring fast.But they also care about money. MSG is a tough place to win in. Look the Rangers won some championships here and Dolan is the owner so why not the Knicks. Dolan will spend money but it will take a special person to play and stay in New York.
