We need a smart tough scoring pg with 3 point range and I’m in love with this guy— not physically😺 I love his game for the Knicks! I think we’ll have pick 24-25— willing to use one of my Dallas picks to move up to ensure we get him. Also love James Bouknight from UConn as a future 2 G but we’re talking Payton Pritchard new pg for the Knicks
Your good dude
Ironically an ESPN analyst did a scouting report on him this morning, and they have him as a big time sleeper, he could go late teens..
I like his game a lot
New year, same ole Briggs hahaha Welcome back. I don't see if in this kid. Not saying he's not an NBA players, but he's probably a second round pick who needs to years in the G-League. I'm not sure his shooting is where it needs to be.

agree. Exactly the kind of player I hope we get with the Clippers pick. I have really high expectations for that slot. Pritchard would be great there.

A player like this was he does he extends your offense and opens up more area for other players. Youre talking 40%+ from 3 from nba range(while he is other teams key target at oregon) but has a combination of power and speed to go right around u or bully u to the basket. Hes intense smart hes a winner. When u look at fred van fleet you say no way--but its yes way. I think Payton is something between nash and van fleet.
He might not last until the Clippers pick. We might have to package the clipper pic and our second round pick to move up for him. The problem with him is I am not sure he is a pg and he is too short to play sg.

no but when you look at long term fit w/ RJ you really want shooting first to keep defenses from collapsing on him and Pritchard is a great fit in that role.
The tourney will change a lot. So will workouts.
If we decide to get our pg with the clips pick or signing van fleet or trading for CP3, who do we draft with our 1st pick?

Been refreshing TheStepein for it. The guy has been spot on almost every prospect.
