I’m not sure what will happen at the top of the draft— but I think this player with RJ and Frank makes a lot of sense long term. We need a smart tough scoring pg with 3 point range and I’m in love with this guy— not physically😺 I love his game for the Knicks! I think we’ll have pick 24-25— willing to use one of my Dallas picks to move up to ensure we get him. Also love James Bouknight from UConn as a future 2 G but we’re talking Payton Pritchard new pg for the Knicks

Spike out, BRIGGS in. Fair trade

I’m liking Kira Lewis with our second pick if we decide not to get a pg with our first

smack— I’d easily take two scoring Pgs this year— in some ways we have no pgs. We need a lot! Attitude and skill changes needed!

If we miss out on a pg with our 1st pick ( or luck into Anthony Edwards) Lewis is definitely the player I would target with the Clips pick. May need to trade up, though.

Welcome back Briggs. Looking forward to your draft insight again. Ignore the election, lol.

Same here. I think him and Frank coming off the bench next year would make a pretty good tandem where he dosen't really have to create as much and can focus on attacking(despite him being a pretty solid passer himself).

Nothing against any other player in the draft — the best pg is Pritchard— imho. He’s physically put together at 6-2 200. He has true 3 pt nba range he’s got the intangibles. The winning mojo with the accompanying intensity. I’d be more than happy to draft/ acquire 2 scoring PG but to me Pritchard would be a knick. I don’t like the lottery pgs accept Halliburton but I would not take him 3-5 I like Pritchard for this t eam— we need a winner.

Wow. I thought BRIGGS had that Pete Rose-type ban. Welcome back.
And, please no politics BRIGGS.
I hoping the Knicks use their picks to move up for Ball if needed, but if we get to draft Ball without moving up, then a scoring PG or Defensive SF, is a good idea for the second round.

Briggs back on UK posting about future prospects. With the right to business return post!
7 picks over the next few yrs...

Hes back. Looking forward to your draft and college player analysis.
Pritchard looks like a nice late round sleeper pick.
Fred van fleet isn’t 6-7 nor does he have a 40 inch vertical but he is a winning player who has a combination of nba skills that are important That’s what I see with Payton Like I said I’d be thrilled with two pgs. Get rid of smith. Mo
EwingsGlass@ 3/8/2020 8:43 PM
How does he compare to Haliburton, in your opinion. Hard to project Haliburton further due to injury, but a lot of the words you use could be used to describe Haliburton, but Haliburton has better size.
smackeddog@ 3/9/2020 5:28 AM
Man, the Clips have been on a run lately while teams next to them have sucked, wreaking havoc with our second pick standings

Ewingglass. I have no problem under certain scenarios of drafting two scoring Pgs— If we end up like 6-9 in the draft and the big men are gonzo. Halliburton at 8 and Payton at 25 would be fine. If I really had my say— I’d rather get wiseman up in the top draft. I still think he’s a david Robinson clone despite us having robinson
Look at intangibles Speed with ball and ball skills w dribble Strength to basket Three point range Ability to palm ball off hand in game — that isn’t ez Court vision Winning plays in clutch

Your good dude
Ironically an ESPN analyst did a scouting report on him this morning, and they have him as a big time sleeper, he could go late teens..
