Love Toppin. But never thought Deni would be there. Think Deni will prove to be the biggest surprise. But F@#& it. On the Obi ban wagon now that he is a Knick!!

SAME!

Ditto. I am on the Obi bandwagon officially. He’s going to improve that defense!

Obi crosses the scoring machine ... this kid is gonna be a star a amare with a way better outside shot. People shouldn’t be complaining we got a serious steal at 8

Stick Toppin in between Frank and Mitch in the starting frontcourt and you can hide his lack of defense

I wanted Vassell but I had no idea Toppin would make it out of the top 5. The guy is an Amare clone. Nice pick

Anyone else shocked the Franchise that is run by CAA happened to select the only player picked in the top 10 represented by CAA.

Vassell is gonna be a superstar in San Antonio

Toppin! I can't say he's going to save Knicks ball but he's a cool player. Toppin had to carry Dayton, a good team but a weird team with some chance of winning a title. Winning at Dayton added a degree of difficulty to Toppin's amazing play that I suspect means he'll end up being a slightly better pro than he seems at first. Yes, his defense right now is terrible but he has the tools to be way better. Best of all, he's fun to watch and he seems to love playing. He was a better player from one game to the next at Dayton, I suspect he'll catch on to the pro game equally fast.

I've been in exile from the Knicks (well, from Dolan) and following GS and I was hoping GS would trade down and take Toppin. Wiseman might end up great but I think Toppin would have been more fun to watch with prime Steph and Klay.

Anyways, good pick, Knicks!

That doesn't bother me, but I kinda wish he wasn't represented by the team president's son.

If the television consensus is correct, the look here seems to be the Knicks going for a guy who can contribute right away towards team improvement since there aren't stars here anyway. That's a philosophy I can understand here.

Guess that means we we can rule out going after Christian Wood and Gallo in free agency. Hopefully means we’ll trade Randle (whatever happened to the Conley trade rumored a while ago?)

No way Randle can start over Toppin

Not crazy about either of those guys and they would have required us to overpay in both money and years
