Here's how the UK press team spun it when Boris Johnson got admitted :

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been admitted to hospital for tests, 10 days after testing positive for coronavirus, Downing Street has said.He was taken to a London hospital on Sunday evening with "persistent symptoms" - including a temperature.
It is said to be a "precautionary step" taken on the advice of his doctor.
The prime minister remains in charge of the government, but the foreign secretary is expected to chair a coronavirus meeting on Monday morning.
Mr Johnson, 55, spent the night in hospital and is having what has been described as a series of "routine tests".
In a statement, a Downing Street spokeswoman said: "On the advice of his doctor, the prime minister has tonight been admitted to hospital for tests.
"This is a precautionary step, as the prime minister continues to have persistent symptoms of coronavirus 10 days after testing positive for the virus."
Though he had had symptoms for over a week.
Not sure if they are being genuinely cautious, but if he's deteriated this quickly it would indicate he's had it longer than just a day (which means he hasn't been tested daily)
Thought so- wouldn't be surprised if he's been infectious for days and is the spreader and not Hope

If so, there's a good chance Biden will pop positive in a couple of days. Yes guys, that's our president.

Biden should just take it easy for a few days just in case.

This all for "just a flu"
This Will get spun in favor of Trump. He Will pop back up in a couple of days healthy as can be. Saying how strong he was. That, as he has said so many time, it is no big deal. Not mentioning that all those "Regular average Americans" that died were not lucky enough to have testing done everyday. Testing he has said is not needed. How those "average Americans" did not get an experimental dose of antibodies within hours of first testing positive. How they did not have the luxury of being flown, by helicopter, to an advanced medical facility. How they did not have 24/7 observation from several top specialists. And how they did not get a full dose of remdesevir within a day of showing symptoms. All things the leader of the free world should have access to. However, he will ignore everything mentioned above and make it all about how strong he is.
I bet they are all taking Hydroxychloroquine with the Stack to aid in healing.

Yep, there's such a weird idea that somehow 'strength' 'beats' illness, like it's some sort of battle or street fight you have control over, rather than being just a case of you lying there and hoping your body somehow manages to heal. It's just a weird way of framing it, that I know a lot of people with cancer find very unhelpful and total BS. But I agree, we all know Trump will indeed never shut up about it, like it somehow proves him self-delusion might and superiority
This just reinforces the call to social distance wear a mask at all times and stay home if u can.
This is a very scary disease. They took it lightly now they got it.

Yep, it’s not asking much, it’s amazing that some people are so resistant
So one of the doctors said he’s 72 hours since diagnosis, which would mean:
Doctor's briefing raises questions about Trump's Covid-19 timelineTrump’s doctors said it had been 72 hours since Trump’s diagnosis (so sometime on Wednesday), which does not fit in with what we know - or were told. We were told of Trump’s illness late on Thursday/early Saturday Washington DC time. That means Trump apparently went to a fundraiser in New Jersey knowing he had Covid-19. Indeed, on Thursday Trump did not give any indication he had been diagnosed in a television appearance. So either Dr Sean Conley is wrong about the diagnosis, Trump was not told he had Covid-19 or he was not telling the truth.
If Dr Sean Conley was indeed correct when he said Trump had been diagnosed with Covid-19 sometime on Wednesday, the president (or people around him) knew he had the virus when:
He flew to Minnesota and attended an event in Minneapolis on Wednesday evening.
He flew back to Washington DC that night with staff on Air Force One
He left the White House at 1.15pm on Thursday to go to his golf club where he addressed donors outdoors, and met with other donors at an indoor roundtable. The father of one of those donors died of Covid-19 in spring.

With such widespread lining throughout his presidency, who knows what to believe anymore:
A statement has been provided to pool reporters that contradicts Dr Sean Conley’s upbeat update on Trump’s health. It says the “the president’s vitals over the last 24 hours were very concerning and the next 48 hours will be critical in terms of his care. We’re still not on a clear path to a full recovery.”The statement should be treated with caution as it is only attributed to “a source familiar with the president’s health” but it just adds to the confusion surrounding how ill Donald Trump is.

I will say, the one thing that is very likely is that he’s had this at least 72 hours if not more as there’s no way he would have reached hospitalization point this quickly. Issue is whether he was tested and knew (and carried on spreading it to others) or hasn’t been getting tested. Either is bad, but knowing he had it and risking others is way worse.
All this lying has become so ridiculous, no wonder people are falling back onto conspiracy theories

So either the Doctors are telling the truth and he’s fine, but he lied about when he got the positive test, or the doctors are lying to make it sound like he’s fine because he doesn’t want people thinking he’s severely ill, or this person is lying to try and milk this by making it seem like he’s at deaths door when he’s not, or they’re lying and have no access to trump at all.
Pathetic it’s come to this.
I thought that Trump getting Covid might have made people take it more seriously. I don't think that will be the case anymore. If he survives this he will lie about how badly it was and nothing will come of it. Obviously things took a turn for the worse. The first lady did not go to the hospital but Trump did. Common sense would say that he was in much worse shape than she was. No matter how obvious that is they are still lying about it.

LOL are you still stuck on this utter bullshit nonsense? You and the Pillow dude need to have a party together and discuss remedies that have nothing to do with anything COVID related, take some clorox before you get within 6 feet of him though.
Last chance, stop with all of this. Stick to Knicks topics. At this point I have to publicly ask how dumb can you be man?
Regeneron, zinc, vitamin D, famotidine, melatonin and a daily aspirin.

Im literally hiding out man. If I get it I’m as done as anything. But I still have to come in contact with some— who come in contact with others— kind of like the 9 degrees of kevin bacon. If there was a way I could take a picture and post it— I’d show u where I’m staying. You’d probably laugh.

It sounds scary and exhausting having to be so vigilant all the time. I work supporting people with terminal illness and their families /carers, and a lot are in the same boat as you (really fearing catching it will be fatal) and having to completely isolate themselves from friends and family.
That's why it annoys when people complain like wearing a mask and socially distancing is some sort of massive hardship or sacrifice, when there are people like yourself who are having to endure much greater sacrifices. For me it's not difficult - if everyone wears a mask when they go out and socially distance, they slow the spread, save lives and buy us time to find a vaccine and better treatments. I don't get why anyone wouldn't want to help save lives by just doing those two simple things, it's not everyday you get the chance to make such a big difference and help so many people.
