Yep, it’s not asking much, it’s amazing that some people are so resistant
Im literally hiding out man. If I get it I’m as done as anything. But I still have to come in contact with some— who come in contact with others— kind of like the 9 degrees of kevin bacon. If there was a way I could take a picture and post it— I’d show u where I’m staying. You’d probably laugh.
It sounds scary and exhausting having to be so vigilant all the time. I work supporting people with terminal illness and their families /carers, and a lot are in the same boat as you (really fearing catching it will be fatal) and having to completely isolate themselves from friends and family.
That's why it annoys when people complain like wearing a mask and socially distancing is some sort of massive hardship or sacrifice, when there are people like yourself who are having to endure much greater sacrifices. For me it's not difficult - if everyone wears a mask when they go out and socially distance, they slow the spread, save lives and buy us time to find a vaccine and better treatments. I don't get why anyone wouldn't want to help save lives by just doing those two simple things, it's not everyday you get the chance to make such a big difference and help so many people.

I bet when he made those comments he never thought he might be speaking about himself. The lack of empathy in these people is appalling.
Covid Karma...
More like ignorance exposed. And of course being a hypocrite

I cannot express how much I agree with you. Same here, people are always quick to point to their rights, but fail to acknowledge these go along with duties. Western societies have become so selfish it's no wonder we're declining, the common good concept is like a fading memory now.

An absolute masterpiece that movie is, it touches on so many things... life and death, frienship, loneliness, father-child relationships, I could go on... I have watched that docking scene so many times it still gives me the goosebumps... and Cooper's reunion with Murphy, so short but so intense. Magnificent.

Yep, and conman Trump continuing to wolf down any treatment (experimental or otherwise, none of which most normal people would have access to) he can get his hands on, after making out it was nothing to everyone else

That's, what, the third big treatment he's received, that isn't given to normal people with his level of mild to moderate severity?!

Christie an Obese asthmatic. His hypocrisy will make a nice epitaph on his tombstone. Was hopeful in 2016 he’d gain the nomination over trump. Not a fan, just prefer Republicans as moderates. Its more productive for the country if the will of the people vote red.

Checked out Trump's Twitter feed. Only a couple of generic tweets today. If he was really well enough to leave the hospital on Monday, I'd expect a whole lot more.
Eventually the truth will come out. Maybe when he makes a live appearance.
GustavBahler@ 10/4/2020 5:44 PM
Apparently Trump went for a car ride to waive to supporters then went back to the hospital. Still no live interview. Seems like a strange thing to do if you're leaving tomorrow. Looks like he is desperately trying to hide something.

He's insane. You have covid, you self isolate, you don't go out in a car to wave to people, endangering the driver and your staff and the people helping to get you in and out of the car

Good point about the drivers. His supporters didnt mind hearing the quotes from former aides about his thoughts on the military, them. I imagine they have too much emotionally invested in him to care.
Cant say its exclusive to the right. Remember seeing Obama flags flying over some homes when he was president. Thought it was creepy then. Like Trump, he's a politician. WTF?
GustavBahler@ 10/4/2020 7:06 PM
Doctors say Trump is on a steroid which the WHO only recommends in extreme covid cases. Still no live call in to his favorite network.

This is beyond irresponsible on his part. Whether a joyride or a PR event, being a confirmed case and all -he is showing a terrible example from a public figure that he is. Just downright negligent

This is the president of the US. His kids have to be running the show. Even they have to know he’s been unfit.

I don't see the hypocrisy. He didn't say that people shouldn't get care if they got covid. He said a fact, that people are going to die from it. No amount of wishful thinking is going to stop the virus until there's a breakthrough. And yes, everyone should take care, wear masks, etc but we can't all stay home until there's a cure. There's a cost to living in a modern society. People die everyday in car crashes. People fucking SMOKE when it's known to give you lung cancer. Had unprotected sex when AIDS was a killer. Thousands of people die from opioids every year. Bottom line is there are risks everywhere you turn, and even the avoidable ones, people don't avoid.

Did you listen to the Woodward interviews? Woodward asked him if he was worried that he might contract covid. He said he didnt. He thought it couldnt happen to him. He was also on tape saying he thought he was protected by being kept away from his supporters, that he couldnt get it. Nevermind them giving it to each other at his rallies
You have to fuck someone to get aids or be born with it, or get a transfusion. All you have to do to give someone covid is to breathe near someone. Like a pregnant woman who can pass covid to their unborn baby. And that Trump did, knowing he had covid. Again, and again.
