I don't see the hypocrisy. He didn't say that people shouldn't get care if they got covid. He said a fact, that people are going to die from it. No amount of wishful thinking is going to stop the virus until there's a breakthrough. And yes, everyone should take care, wear masks, etc but we can't all stay home until there's a cure.
There's a cost to living in a modern society. People die everyday in car crashes. People fucking SMOKE when it's known to give you lung cancer. Had unprotected sex when AIDS was a killer. Thousands of people die from opioids every year. Bottom line is there are risks everywhere you turn, and even the avoidable ones, people don't avoid.

Did you listen to the Woodward interviews? Woodward asked him if he was worried that he might contract covid. He said he didnt. He thought it couldnt happen to him. He was also on tape saying he thought he was protected by being kept away from his supporters, that he couldnt get it. Nevermind them giving it to each other at his rallies

You have to fuck someone to get aids or be born with it, or get a transfusion. All you have to do to give someone covid is to breathe near someone. Like a pregnant woman who can pass covid to their unborn baby. And that Trump did, knowing he had covid. Again, and again.

Few are saying to stop living, but the statistical odds of two people in a room wearing a mask and one has Covid goes down tremendously. Wearing a mask is not about getting it, its about spreading it. If the mango president wanted to unite he’d have from day one lead the narrative “Together we can help one another”. But instead knowing we did not have enough masks made government look bad, he covered his own ass first as he always does. Then he continued in that direction what children do which is deflect.
Not wearing mask is not a unique thing to USA. But if you can’t see that propaganda efforts of Trump vs what the scientific community is sayting then our willingly seeing what you want. With Trump, its always “media is unfair, Deep state, Not fair, blah blah”. Children deflect responsibility, not presidents!

No I'm sorry I did not hear the Woodward interview. I'm just reacting to the post that argued that because he said people were going to die due to the economy openning he was a hypocrit for going to the hospital for treatment.
And I was not talking at all about Trump.

My bad

As far as the economy, this is why giving massive tax cuts to the wealthy and large corporations, who didnt need them was a bad idea. Emergencies happen. Lots of large corporations paid out most of their profits to shareholders, like the airline industry. Not enough capital reserves. Now the're begging the govt for help. Corporate Socialism, if you will.

They were made whole by the previous administration. Corporations are paying a smaller pct of the overall taxes, than they did in the early 50s, when their footprint was a lot smaller. Millions of people are about to be permanently unemployed because this administration didnt want to put money directly into company payrolls. If they had done that, people could have stayed home longer. A lot more businesses would still be around.

Yes, we cant keep businesses closed forever, but there was a better way than just opening for busineses again, before communities passed certain thresholds

According to sources, Don Jr. has told friends that he tried lobbying Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump, and Jared Kushner to convince the president that he needs to stop acting unstable. “Don Jr. has said he wants to stage an intervention, but Jared and Ivanka keep telling Trump how great he’s doing,” a source said. Don Jr. is said to be reluctant to confront his father alone. “Don said, ‘I’m not going to be the only one to tell him he’s acting crazy,’” the source added.

One area where the family seems united is over the president’s manic tweeting early Monday morning. After Trump sent out more than a dozen all-caps tweets, the Trump children told people they want Trump to stop. “They’re all worried. They’ve tried to get him to stop tweeting,” a source close to the family told me.

On a more serious note, any push for the 25th amendment to be successful would likely have to start with his family.

"As an essential worker, I have worked diligently to provide needed information to the American People at this time," she wrote.

"With my recent positive test, I will begin the quarantine process and will continue working on behalf of the American People remotely."

In White House circles, McEnany has become a symbol of how closely held the early diagnoses of Covid-19 were among high-ranking officials.

While Hicks tested positive for the coronavirus early Thursday, McEnany was not immediately informed of the diagnosis, nor that she herself had been exposed to the virus, until Thursday evening, when press reports began to emerge about Hicks.

In the hours between Hicks' positive test and when McEnany learned of it, she briefed the press in the White House briefing room, while not wearing a mask.

Melania Trump's spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham, who preceded McEnany as White House press secretary, declined to comment on McEnany's disclosure Monday.

How do these people not understand that you don't instantly begin testing positive the moment you catch it. She used her negative test as a reason not to quarantine. Shen the spoke to reporters without a mask. How are these people our leaders.
