Martin, please do not make this the game thread. We know how accurate the Briggs prediction threads are. (ie. "We be hurtin" thread followed by a 40pt. quarter.) Knicks do not need this kind of Briggs jinxing just when we are getting it going.

to be fair to Briggs there were no predictions, just enthusiasm so I think you are being a bit hard on the guy

I have watched every game this year. The offense is a work in progress but what Thibs has done with the defense is really incredible. Knicks are #1 across the board. Anyone else see games like the Kings and think "this should be a win for us?"

Here's some nice perspective: We are the best defensive team in the league 15+ games in and while the offense is not good with guys like Obi/IQ we have some firepower in the pipeline

Blazers are pretty banged up tho. Nurkic and McCollum are both out. I actually have us 3-1 on this road trip. Utah is a hot and I dont think they have lost since we beat them

martin, please change it to some sort of pseudo-clever "Sack the Sactown" or something. Maybe even a reference to some rookie on their bench that BRIGGS swore we were supposed to get/trade for.

The Kings are going through a bad stretch. They're 5-10 and have lost 4 in a row. The Knicks have an opportunity get their first win vs a sub .500 opponent. :p
Yep, the Blazers are beat up - missing 2 of their top 3 players.
Utah... well, we handled them before, but they'll be looking for revenge. Fortunately we're better now than when we played them last. We're one of the few teams in the NBA that has multiple answers for Gobert.

We're already halfway to clinching a 2 win road trip, with a shot at 4 wins. But let's not get ahead of ourselves. Let's see if we can pick off Sacto.

Time for some Offensive over reaches. We are 11th in PPG in the paint and 7th in total Rebounds per game. Three point percentage steadily increasing over the last 5 games. So there is that. A little praise for whoever our offensive coach is.

Bold move, BRIGGS...love the enthusiasm!

Soon we'll know if BRIGGs has been to the same place as J Ellis went during yesterday's game:

The fact he got the margin of victory exactly right just makes it even funnier

Is Frank still hurt? If DSJr was more assertive, Im guessing the minutes would be there. How he was leapfrogged by a rook. See no enthusiasm for the game anymore.

Glad Burks is back to add some backcourt offense. Does a lot of things well. Enough to plug some holes in the offense, when he's on the court.

Wsup with all the back to back games, we had one at the beginning of this week.
Coach Thibs has been doing such a good job with the Knicks, he has the Knicks prepared for our crazy schedule. Big Props to Thibs and his coaching-staff for the 8-8 record.
Last night, Thibs played a 10 man rotation vs GSW, I'm hoping he do the same tonight.
