Yeah he certainly wants his guys. Problem is Rose isn’t half of what he was offensively in his best year. His defense is historically bad. Back in 2011-12 he got away with it because the Bulls were loaded with great defenders to back him up. Even though I’m happy with our defensive effort we aren’t close to what the Bulls were at that time to cover for Rose. Whatever offense he brings he will negate with his lack of defense. It will also cause Randle and Mitch to get into foul trouble more often. Just makes no sense whatsoever

Isn’t Noah still the 2nd highest player on the team. Thibs getting the band back together. Hard to imagine they trade for Rose to not play him. I have to wonder where IQ gets his minutes now.

At the 2. Move Bullock to the bench. Quickley gets to start without the pressure of having to actually run the offense (he played the 2 in college also, it's not virgin territory for him).

Quick has played less than 15 in the last few games even with the season he’s had. You think Thibs will keep playing him over his fav Rose?

This is a terrible trade of the result is keeping Payton here.

As impressive as Thibs coaching has been in making the Knicks win more than expected, his tendencies of not playing the youth, favoring his vets even when they make mistakes and now bringing his favorite players at the expense of our youngsters is starting to rub me the wrong way.

They better trade Payton soon or else this was a terrible move.

I’m not quoting anything. I’m going by what I know if Rose and since he was here already. Honestly there is no good reason to bring him here to play him big minutes when we have IQ and otters who can actually defend. Even his offense is t what close to what it once was. If we got a shooter I would have been happy but Rose makes zero sense. Usually in a trade you have some fans who like it. This trade pretty much unanimously is not liked which tells you something 😂

we got rose,payton,rj,rivers frank,quick,bullock,burks alto rj plays more sf somebody is gonna lose time or theres another trade in the works JMHO

I was expecting Clyde to put a little positive spin on the idea of acquiring Rose. Nope, nothing. Based on how much I respect Clyde’s knowledge, it made me feel even worse about a possible trade.
