Storylines like this one is a huge part of our entertainment. Those 2 Dallas games last yr were epic. The one in the garden where the fans were going crazy booing him every chance they could. Only to see the Knicks pull out a hard fought entertaining game vs one of the best talents in the NBA in Luka. The storyline built that atmosphere.
The storyline right now with us owning the Dallas pick makes their current struggles entertaining to follow. Every misstep by KP and loss by Dallas adds to the storyline and adds to the entertainment of the season. I'll tell you one thing though. If KP forcing his way out netting us that Dallas pick leads to us landing Suggs. He will be alright in my book. 
But imagine for a second that the pick turns into a franchise player that helps us become a contender. The road that was traveled from where we started to where we ended up. That is why we follow sports teams.
Good points. But isn’t it nice that Randle is succeeding? I deem the whole KP thing as “regrettable”. Better he stayed, wanted to stay, and was healthy. But if not, best if Dennis ascended to starter/allstar status. Not to be.
Beating Dallas last year was cool. Why? WE WON!!! More sweet with KP on the floor than on crutches.

I’d rather we not even need these picks because we are contenders, but we are not.
No doubt I want the Dallas picks to succeed. We could succeed regardless of the position because we draft well. We could fail by not regardless of the pick place.
LIke I said, I won’t revel in another failure but prefer to enjoy our success.
