Is Hill an expiring? If not I don’t think the knicks want to mess with cap space. They may need it for larger trades later.

wed be saving Oklahoma 3mm this year and it would not have e a material effect on any mass contract trade. What this team needs is stability at the starting PGs position Plus Hill shoots in really good from 3.

George makes $10 million next season, I think. He's a platoon guy at this point, but I wouldn't be upset at that trade. But I have no idea who the Knicks are targeting in free agency. They may not want to make such a move right now.
I’d love that move. We need guards that can’t shoot and make plays and Hill is one of them on top of being a plus defender. He’s got one more year on his contract but it’s just 9mm which is good value.

His deal is only partially guaranteed for $1.27M next season, according to Bball reference. I'd definitely consider it, but OKC has little inventive

If Frank cannot find playing time why would Hill? Or am I missing something?
Question is does OKC want to dump HIll. Frank is a FA. They have a ton of picks. Money? Ok. Dolan prints it most years.

Because Hill would be better than all the other Pgs on our roster?
Trading for Hill will either do nothing for the Knicks, or help the Knicks win 5 more games this season and have zero impact next season. 5 extra wins this season could be a key difference in whether we get a shot at Cade/Suggs/Mobley or not.
Now, why exactly should the Knicks trade Frank for Hill?

you would have to include Peyton, or else whose spot is he taking in the rotation that seems pretty set.
Hill is out and their 2nd rnd pick THEO Maledon is filling in nicely, he was 6-6 from 3 the other night, so frank would probably be in the same situation he's in now
How about just play Frank, esp on days when Bullock/Rivers are cold?

Thibs rotation is much like this team's D - tough to crack

He's obviously off. His agent should be looking for teams whose offensive leader and primary ball handler is also a defensive liability, so that Frank could play to his strengths, defend on the opposition point guard and try and gradually improve his offense. The Hawks would probably be the perfect match for him.

I just want to say, neither Bullock nor Rivers offer much on defense. And lately, the offense has been spotty, at best. FREE FRANK!

I agree with this. Also this trade reeks of Cheeks for Strickland. I love Mo Cheeks but he was out of his prime at that time.

This guy has no chance here vmart. Give it two more weeks and hes either worth a 2nd rounder or even nothing. I do NOT think hes playing here with Tibs--something they dont like about him. Id give him a shot.

There is nothing wrong with Knox or Frank these guys are victims of stupid organizational decisions. Tibs is making a huge mistake. We are no better today than we were when KP, Rose and Melo were here along with Noah. We play Austin Rivers, Bullock and Payton these are just journeymen players. The motto was youth development. When did it stop with just Quicky. Very disappointed in direction of franchise.
