Back to the original question--NO! Not only would I not trade for Kemba, the only way I'd want him on the team is if we got something additional to soften the blow.

So if kemba had shown proper respect like to some Mafia Don, like ask for your friendship or offer a cup of coffee you’d then welcome him with open arms? Or this really about his on court basketball talent?
“The enemy of my Enemy is my friend”.......
lol if we take this approach we will only ever be able to sign guys like Elfrid Payton for the rest of eternity

Which would happen. Celtics are seriously considering trading Kemba for KP, who has a worse contract and is a cancer, that’s how desperate they are

that deal actually makes sense for both Dallas and the Celtics!
That could turn out to be great cause then we get to see him on the bench 5 or 6 times instead of just two

Of course the Celtics would make that trade. The problem is Dallas would not.
Zinger clearly has some real injury issues that won't go away. That being said, he's younger, and he's got height. If he's a super charged Stretch 5 for the next few years, that still more valuable that Kemba Walker. Put it this way, there exists some possibility that Zinger turns this around. Kemba Walker however is in a steep decline phase and death spiral in his career.
I think Zinger's bitter exit and that he's an asshole clouds lots of people here to the reality that he's still a valuable player. That narrative might change soon, but he's still a very rare combination of skills for any NBA team.

The problem with Porzingis is he went from a good to bad defender since being traded.
I’m on this if the Celtics give us 2023 and 2025 picks

A Kemba-KP trade would be that rare trade that would suck for both teams
KP couldn’t handle NY. How is handling Boston? The media and fans up there will rip him apart for sitting out 20-35 games per season and being a turnstile on defense. Plus his contract is actually worse than Kemba’s
Kemba does nothing for the Mavs. Luka is their pg. Kemba can play off ball as a 2 because he can shoot but $36 million per year for a part time 2 guard is crazy
OK how the fck did he just get traded with a 1st pick, for basically trash..

Pretty interesting deal for Cs. Moses Brown has got bags of potential as well.

At this point the Thunder could afford two stars with all that capital they got.

I am surprised it only took a 1st and taking back Horford to dump that contract. In other news, OKC now has 36 draft picks between now and the 2027 draft including 18 first round picks. They could offer the 4-6th pick and like 10 other 1st round picks for Cade Cunningham and still have all their own draft picks.
Would OKC move SGA?
Could OKC be a potential trade up partner for the knicks? Can the knicks get #16 for 19 and 32? Who should will still be available at 16?

I mean, they COULD be a potential trade up partner but usually that's reserved for a team who essentially wants more draft picks?
Having 5 picks in top 36 maybe isn't enough already?

Martin makes a good point. I think the 19 and 32 pick would be worth the 16th pick, but OKC would have to value that 32 pick. This is supposed to be a good draft, so I think there will be solid players throughout, but no team wants 5 rookies. If our target is Mitchell, we probably have to move up to the 10th pick.
at this point i would imagine OKC will trade picks for players
The celts a few years back had a boat load of 1sts and 2d and have little to show for it (obviously they nailed it with their super high picks)
OKC will have a lot of guys coming in with no vet guidance. An otherwise trove can turn into a problem
Oklahoma City holds 34 draft picks from the 2021 through 2027 drafts. Seventeen are first-rounders and 17 are second-rounders.
this was reported at the trade deadline, so it doesn't even include the one they just got
crazy
OKC has SGA as their best player and now have Kemba in the lineup next to him. This should be fun.
