OK, I have been hunting around for a thread like this:
I think by the "easily scale" he may mean by cutting Luca?
I don't fully understand this math but here it is

somewhere on here i recall one of the posters saying the CLips were handcuffed, e.g., couldn't offer more than 10 or so to Reggie because of some rule.
he'd still be my pick. Not sure if there's a way to manipulate things so year 1 fits better but perhaps more backloaded and guaranteed? (i don't know the rules, obviously)
He, unlike Dennis, seems to have matured. 7' wingspan. 40% at threes, can still explode to the rim, and last year he demonstrated he could play in a quasi-off ball role with PG and Kawhi dominating the ball. Here RJ and Julius (and EF) would also have the ball in their hands a lot
if this happens I'm gonna kiss Leon on the lips [not really, but thought that might be appropriate for dramatic effect
]
Then who were the knicks targeting, because they never made a formal offer to any of the available pgs

Sharp deal by the Pels.
I don’t know —- paying 1sr rounder price for privilege of giving 4 & $43m to Graham seems like a reach for me. Yes he can shoot but he is virtually 100% 3pfg attempts — rarely gets into paint or rim if I’m right

The early bird slot (he agreed but Rose won't sign it until after all salary cap deals are done-like any other resigning that doesn't count against the cap), put possibly cutting any non garaunteed contracts (Luca), plus trading Knox without taking back salary....
Amazing how after all posts about being locked in and no flexibility, this team can possibly create another almost 20 mil in cap space out of thin air.
I'm sorry but this FO is really thinking 2 or 3 steps ahead of what their transactions reflect.

Fits in well with "point" Zion.
I still think we have the likes of both Schroeder and Oubre coming to NY.
One potentially with cap space the other maybe via sign and trade with Rose fitting in with early bird aft the fact.
Not sure but think if we were to go over it would also open up larger exception to use.
Lots of S&Ts still about to go down

Exactly, and he has only shot 38% from 3 from the past 2 years. I don't know how that qualifies as "sharp shooting" rather than "high volume, average 3pt shooter"

not showing kira any love. NO is a mess. other than Zion and Jonas they have a bunch of short or super skinny guys. they're going to get smashed
It's over, Knicks win the FA market

Not yet. They still haven't signed Theo.

Aller is really good at this.
It will be weird having so many returning players for a change!
