2 mm for pick 53? man Id sell pick 58 for 2 mm and go UDFA
My feeling is that Morey is desperately working on a Lowry, Simmons trade before the draft.
Will Knicks trade for Sexton?
If people want to make predictions, it will be fun to know who really knows their shit or who is just lucky.

sounds like our ability to move up is severely strained by OKC wanting to do same and packaging better picks.
okc wanting to move up makes a ton of sense. they seem to have more picks over the coming years than they could effectively use (are they really going to be bringing in 3 first rounders every year?) I imaging some selling teams can get greedy and see that as a problem for OKC
Key rule in negotiating: focus on the other side's problems, not your own. OKC needs to sell
I don't put Knicks in that same bucket. We want to sell but we don't need to sell. We could bring in 3 quality rookies i think
best part of the draft so far for me is i have no clue which way Knicks are leaning.
I can't wait for 7:30's NBA draft countdown on ESPN before our draft starting @ 8:00!
I was Sharife Cooper @ 19.
I want Tre Mann @ 21.
But I'll admit I'm not a scout and don't know about this draft class more than our FRONT OFFICE does so I'll be willing to get fired up regardless of which players they pick.
What are your thoughts on Terrence Ross? News are starting to come out that the knicks have engaged with the magic to trade for Ross. Maybe 21 plus Knox for Ross and 33?
Other trade ideas with the Pacers, knicks get Lamb, Turner and the 13th for Knox, mitch, 19, 21 and the dallas pick next year. I dont mind trading Mitch as long as there is an answer already for the starting center be it Turner or being able to pick say Isiah Jackson in with the 21st pick. im not loving this Pacers trade, knicks giving too much
for all the talk about the depth of the draft and parity after the top 5 (or is it now 7) seems all the news is about teams trying to move up
I am super intrigued thinking that the Knicks believe they have a diamond in that sea of parity and seem focused on getting that guy
in nfl, i'm all in about lots of picks, BPA, seeing what the board provides
But nba it's a different situation with your success hinging on a few players, and team chemistry.
This mock is sweet due to the sheer number of options that would eb available to us from 19 onwards:
Jared Butler
Cam Thomas
Garuba
Duarte
Zaire Williams
Kai Jones
Bones Hyland
Ayo Dosunmu
Grimes
Bassey
Tre Mann
McBride
Primo
Sharief Cooper
I'd use all our picks in that scenario

I'm not a fan, but I do remember Knicks have been interested in trading for him for years- seems to be the annual rumour at the trade deadline.
Seems like they're particularly interested because he'd be a 1yr $11.5mil contract, which fits things financially, and maybe you could also move him at the deadline. A stop gap solution, might be okay as that.
Whoever the guests were on Knicks Fan TV, I think they said they'd heard Butlers medicals were bad (even though the league cleared him, team doctors can form a different opinion) and he might slip to the second round
^^ sorry to hear about Butler. He seems like a quality young man. But health is top priority. NBA season is much more grueling. We don't want another Hank Gathers tragedy

This draft is so deep, I'm most excited on who we an steal with our #32. Hoping we keep all picks and continue building a base of great young players.

We have the assets. However I think the trade would have happened already by now

100%...that would be a wonderful outcome this evening.
According to Woj twitter, looking like Buddy Hield to Lakers- I like that for them
