Jarret Allen would have had 4 to 7 block-shots in 2 games (Dominate Defensive boards) ..
J.Sims shows he able to dominate the offensive-boards, need lots of coaching help to defend the paint.

Sims has to be more aware on the D. I saw several errors. That being said he’s an nba player 100-% He already sets good picks plays fine 1-1 D hustles finishes. Right now today he can go into an nba game and contribute. I think he has additional upside beyond knowing his role

He’s averaging 11- 8.5 shooting 100%. That’s pretty good. And I noticed we played better for the most part when he was on the floor

I've also noticed him executing the lost art of boxing out on a lot of defensive rebounds.

One other issue...he really has to work on his foul shooting, which was an issue in college for him, too, where his 4 year average was about 52%.

I'm watching Hawks vs Pacers SL game today, while cussing our Knicks franchise out!
WTF! Leon Rose, Perry, and Thibs should be BANNED from the NBA draft!
McBride & Grimes are not ready for the NBA .. and the fools just gave McBride a 3 yr contract.

Jalen Johnson is the TRUTH .. Trae Young is gonna make Jalen Johnson a NBA All-Star before his rookie contract ends. WTF !!!

Quickley & Obi could use a player having Jalen Johnson skills & talent in their SL Game lineup, and in their 2nd unit lineup in the upcoming season.
I said it, "A rookie with better offense/defense IQ than veteran RJ Barrett & Evan Fournier" !!!

Hawks fans are fortunate the organization totally cleaned house and started fresh from the front office and scouting department that selected Onyeka Okongwu with the sixth overall pick last year.

Dodged a bullet, they did.

Cooper was Ballin and hit the game-winner!

The Hall of Fame of the Summer League. Where are so many of them?

Shucks. Have also read maybe stress fracture near ankle.

We may look back to say the rockets had the best draft of all time in 2021. I’m not sure I’ll be around— maybe💪😸 but I think it will happen

The siren song of scrimmage games snares its victims every 365 days without fail.

Think people slept on Alperen Sengun being one of the best and maybe the best players in the draft. I think he will be a good bet for Rookie of the Year. He will be a daily double double threat as a rookie with efficient offense.

At this point I will be surprised if he makes the team.

It caused a chain reaction on big men with first round grades falling throughout the draft. It's how the Knicks were able to grab Sims so late.

interesting that he and green are both so good. what a great draft by the rockets. still will not likely make the playoffs, but will be young, exciting and ready to ball out by the time lebron retires in 3 to 4 years.

shame, but will give a chance to evaluate other guys and get them more reps

Ouch on Luka but maybe the injury buys him some time. I wonder if he was hurt during his less than stellar olympics

While waiting on your next "Fire the Front Office" post, McBride just gave you the middle finger with his 22/7/5 performance against the Lakers SL team.

As I have already written, some have compared Luca to Campazzo. Campazzo was a star in Europe and one of the top players. Luca wasn't even close to that. Of course that doesn’t mean he’s a bad player and I’d say he’s on a contract like this “low risk, high reward”, but he’s far from a safe thing and if I have to bet I’d rather put money on that he’ll never be a serious NBA player than to he will.

And his case is certainly not helped by the arrival of Kemba and the great games by McBride.

VDesai @ 8/12/2021 9:48 AM
With 2 or maybe 3 more games left, the question is does the team continue to need to see Quickley at PG (knowing he is a lock for the rotation and will get reps in preseason), or should they use this time to evaluate guys like McBride and Rokas at the PG position? To me, given the odds are Rokas goes back to Europe and isn't back with the team till next year, it makes logical sense to give him more of a look now with our coaches so they can get a better feel for what he brings. I'd also like to see McBride handle the point a bit more. Personally I think Quickley and even Toppin to some degree have shown what they needed to show.
