That said, this signing surprises me the least. Rose turned the season around. Plays decisively -- the way Thibs covets. And there's so much mutual respect and loyalty between the two

wish the terms were cheaper though

This. Rose deserved his money after last year. Give him a huge pay raise for this upcoming year with a club option if he shows it was not a fluke.

I was shocked by how well Rose played last year. After his first go around I wanted no part of him and he proved me wrong. However, Three years with his history is irresponsible from this front office.

irresponsible? he's changed his game. he's shooting more reliably from the outside; he's scoring with push shots and mid range. His game has a longevity it didn't in his earlier years.

one can argue that's a lot of money for a guy who hopefully plays 20 minutes, but i don't think the deal is irresponsible. CP3 is getting 40 mill/yr as a 36 year old. Kawhi is probably going to make more and miss the year and then come back from another significant injury.

Whether you want him on the team or not (and he was btw a major factor in our 4th seed push) do some research and you will understand Rose was not overpaid. Roughly $14 million per for three years for a 32 year old starting caliber former MVP is not irresponsible and actually actually a more than fair deal.

Discouraging day at Ultimate Knicks....

Costing the Pels a first round pick.

But our team will be ok. Very similar team. So chemistry is there. Good young tough players. Younger vets— it is what it is. Not awesome. Not terrible

I agree, I would of taken Jalen Johnson
