I like Rose off the bench— in terms of chemistry who is starting?
So what does the roster look like now? Still gotta get a pt guard.

Thats the million dollar question
The Knicks didn't address their biggest hole yet (starting PG)
What a nightmare off-season. Not one of these 3 year contracts is a smart signing. Does anyone here believe this team will finish higher than 6th next season. We are capped out the next 3 seasons and we wil be fortunate to avoid the play in. I don't know how anyone can be happy with this.

Can't help but agree, we're basically locked into mediocrity for at least the next 3 years.

Nope, I can easily see all these contracts going bad. Really unhappy. We would of been better off letting all these guys walk
I would be more satisfied if we used the pick 19 on one of the two Johnson’s. I fully understand we have many rooks but one of those two could end up high end. They have bounce we lack. But our team will be ok. Very similar team. So chemistry is there. Good young tough players. Younger vets— it is what it is. Not awesome. Not terrible
I'm sorry but Rose is completely washed up at 32 years old in other words a shell of what he once was and always another injury away from another torn ACL.
You don't pay no backup bench playing PG no $15M per season.

Did you even watch any games last year? Rose single handily turned the season around for us. He was playing like his mvp seasons. "washed up" ??? no way. Great resign.

Was hoping they make offers for Nunn or Graham.
still think CHarlotte and Sacramento are obvious candidates for some form of trade. Each team has too many quality pgs and too much money at that position now or imminently. Each has needs. COuld imaging Mitch or Obi being involved or (god forbid) RJ depending on who is being discussed

Jared Butler would have been nice with the 32.
This feels like a risky overpay to me.
I didn’t like us bringing him here last year. He changed my mind, but Thibs overplayed the hell out of him.
I hope Rose can avoid injury.
i'm more struck by the length than the per/year.
That said, this signing surprises me the least. Rose turned the season around. Plays decisively -- the way Thibs covets. And there's so much mutual respect and loyalty between the two
wish the terms were cheaper though
Yea! I like it. Man this guy played great for us and transformed our team. He earned the contract and love from us fans. It looks like he has a lot left in the tank if you ask me.

I was shocked by how well Rose played last year. After his first go around I wanted no part of him and he proved me wrong. However, Three years with his history is irresponsible from this front office.

This. Rose deserved his money after last year. Give him a huge pay raise for this upcoming year with a club option if he shows it was not a fluke.
