Knicks · The official 2021-2022 NBA Season……………. (page 18)

Bring back the dribbling fat Dutchman!
NYKMentality @ 11/1/2021 7:11 PM
I know the Wizards are 5-1 and the Hawks are 3-3 bla bla bla but I still want the Wizards to beat ATL tonight.

I absolutely hate Trae Young as a flopping flipping basketball player and can not stand the hype that ATL received while eliminating the Knicks last year.

We swept them 3-0 during the regular season but yet come playoffs we were forced to play them without our starting Center in Mitchell Robinson. It was so frustrating to me.

Take away Clint Capela and give us Mitchell Robinson and they would've had a 0.00% chance to eliminate us.

Go Wizards because I want to see ATL @ 3-4.

smackeddog @ 11/2/2021 6:31 AM
Ref's award Trae Young for his recent crying about the no-calls, just like they did when harden did the same- just pathetic

Frank giving Dallas decent 3&D minutes. Glad the little fella is progressing in his metamorphosis.

The talent was always there. He looks like he's playing smarter. Will never forget that LeBron block to the end the game.

It does look like he is playing against a good college team though

How many times did we say that about Kobe when he played the Knicks. It's not Mario's fault for being dominant 😤

He looks like he has a role there. Now he just has to avoid the groin injury

If Cade Cunningham was a Knick they'd be calling him a bust already.

4 out of 5 dentists recommend “Trident” gum for their patients. This is an old line from their commercials going back in time. Running joke is “What is the problem with the one dude that does not recommend it?”. What was the size of the sample? Just 5? Or was it larger and Madison Ave had to dumb it down to simple numbers? Add Jerry Seinfelds voice to this small bit and maybe im plagerizing. I’ll get to the point:
Numbers can be funny, Maybe saying 8 out of 10 does not sound good, lays more doubt? Or, claiming 80% is not so absolute? Did we even discuss the quality of the dentists surveyed? We talking top of the class folk? Good schools? Are they even certified dentists? Can I say “Im a Dentist”? Maybe I don’t do that.

“Trident” is a sugar free gum. Sugar is evil and crates cavities. Maybe not, can’t trust anyone now.

9 out of 10 GM’s would still take Zion over Ja Morant. The one outlier admits ownership would have over ruled him. Nalod will beat this drum over and over to prove a point: Owners matter in basketall decisions. GMs get fired for it often. So do coaches. You can’t fire owners unless they are evil and as bad as many have been only Sterling got booted. His penalty was paying taxes on the profit. Owners have to pander to the fan base. Dolan hired and fired GM’s/Presidents to placate the angry mob that was knick fans calling for him to sell the team. Owner decides on direction of the team. Zion was a marketing juggernaut and potential franchise/league transformative player NBA has not seen since Lebron came into the league. We have discussed this before and how tough it would be to have traded down for the pick.

Im sure he and his family understands the media outcry for his weight. Any of you struggle with weight? Its not so simple.

Marc stein has a good piece on this……

Starts off joking, but makes a serious point as it goes on, hope Zion is listening, it would be a real loss to squander his talent

Watched video and can confirm. Would also add, they didn't appear very tall either.

Mario is a giant amongst men. Of course they'd look smaller

+1
I said when he was drafted (along with several million others) NOLA is not the place for someone with that body type to live. They fry everything, even the butter.
Would be a horrible waste of a possible generational talent.

As a basketball fan, I sure hope Zion gets it together.

I don't watch the Nets so I did not know it was this bad for Harden.
martin @ 11/4/2021 7:46 AM
^ Yikes. Seems like he is completely out of shape too?

Thanks for posting this. I don't bother to follow the Nets.
Wow, and I thought the 19 FT game was going to turn his season back to the normal flopping march to the foul line.

Give me a minute, I need to go cry.
