LOL.

Well, he is not exactly ballin’ but his PER is up to 12.48 (the highest of his career), and he is having career highs in most of his per/40 numbers. It will be interesting to see if he turns into a consistent rotation player in Dallas.

Usually, when you change jobs and the job you left doesn't see any value in you. It's a wake up call to perform better in your next job, vs your previous job. Also, Frank is in Euro heaven with Dallas, so I'm not surprised. Payton is also balling in phoenix, but he's in a roll off the bench where he can come in and perform with little expectations. NY is and always will be a harder place to perform for average players. You really have to be built for it, or NY media / fans / pressure will chew you up and spit you out. I'm glad these Ex Knickerbockers are playing well. Good for them. If we bring them back to the knicks, they will play like they did before they left.
his groin will not hold up. Or some other soft tissue injury will derail his play.
I do wish him nothing but success, and just plunked down for League Pass so I can watch the Dallas Knicks!
looks exactly like the Frank we know and love. Tantalizing runs of great play followed by a absolute lemons or an injury.
First time in his career he's got his FG% above .400 so there's that. .30 from downtown isnt exactly balling. He's earned minutes as a good defensive sub. His value is "nba scrap heap"

Also shooting 50% on two pointers. He started off hot from three, but still small sample size.

he's earned his minutes with good D. But just look at his shooting on a game to game basis and you see there is just zero consistency to his shooting

Ballin?! elf is collecting DNPs as a 3rd string pg. He played a few games when Payne got hurt, had decent numbers for a small sample but went back to the end of the bench when he returned.

Dallas has "The Council" that helps Coach Kidd make decisions on how deep they will go into the bench. Basically, if everybody is healthy, everybody will play if feasible. Dallas has been going 13-14 deep most nights.

Ok….u got me. I watched 1 game and the announcer was loving him. Probably when Payne didn’t play. But DNP is not always a sign that he’s playing bad. Just too many players in front of him I’m guessing.
Elf was signed here as a back up. He earned his starting role by others not exceeding. Dennis, Frank, etc.
Good for him.
Frank I hope does well. Dallas is doing well. Good for him.
We don’t miss them but we miss their defense. Kind of like how you don’t miss the woman but you miss that ass.

Yes, I miss Frank too. There there
Luckily for us our perimeter D is now stellar

Elf sucks
Miss those defensive Youtube highlights. The penultimate mr. small sample size...
Frank was never a prince. He wasn't even a Semmi. He was more like those women who gave the prince a bath.
