Knicks · Focusing on 5 spot. No interest in keeping Robinson (page 1)

BRIGGS @ 12/4/2021 3:03 PM
We have too much cash into Noel. Sims is cheap. Robinson is not worthy or needed going forward. But we do need to find a post that can score and play D

I'm cooking a nice Italian spread. I have to start braising the beef, pork butt and veal shanks for the tomato sauce soon. I'm going to make some ziti with the meat gravy, and I'm planning
to roast some peppers over the flames, and I was putting on some string beans with the olive oil and garlic, and I had some beautiful cutlets, cut just right, that I'm going to fry up before dinner just as an appetizer.

I don't know if Mitch is actually healthy. He is giving us some good play. His per 36 is down, his per 100 is still great.

With where this team is, I think you have to include him in a trade in an effort to improve the team.

Do you think G State would trade Wiseman for Knox & Robinson?

I think they might- again, we've got the Dallas first which probably won't be high up. I'll give the FO credit for finding value later in the draft.

Don’t be shocked if they trade Mitch at the deadline. Noel is locked up longterm and Sims has looked capable
Knixkik @ 12/5/2021 7:56 AM
Myles Turner should be the move.

Over rated for what the cost would be. They’d want a stars package. 5 1s young players er

We have to find a willing trade partner, someone motivated to get better or dump salary or something.

And we should be ok with trading a big for a small. Like we could use a PG in the worse way.

His 3 point shooting would really open the floor. None of our bigs can shoot outside of Randle who as regressed. Obi, Mitch, Noel, Sims, all can't shoot at all. They are all roll men. However, Briggs is probably right they will want every asset we have. Turner is more of a complimentry piece. I think the time to make that trade was the offseason when we could of grabbed low cost vets to replace some of the production on the outgoing players. Now the depth will be gutted.

knicks1248 @ 12/5/2021 9:09 AM
Mitch goes out last season (knicks were 3 games under 500), a week later we go on a 13 game win streak and Randle is the player of the month.

The spacing will never work with the Centers we have. The problem is doing a trade now for Turner guts the team of assets. Any trade we make starts with Obi, Knox ( For Filler ), Mitch or Noel. Both picks this year and the Dallas pick. I would be fine rolling with Turner, Sims, and Taj the rest of the year at Center. Next year find a cheap vet to add to the mix. The problem is it leaves the team with no depth at PF. The trade should of been made in the off-season when there were plenty of vet PF's we could of signed. Otto Porter would of been the perfect combo forward for the roster.

He’s also injury prone

Clean @ 12/5/2021 11:35 AM
Speaking of injury prone has there ever been more injury prone players than Mitch and Noel. If they happen to be healthy enough to make it to the game they both get injured minimum of 3 times each game. I have never seen anything like it.

Really? Plenty of playrs injury prone. It sucks. Mitch is playing thru it. Easy to say “hey, let him rest”.
Kudos that he is playing into shape and not regressed with broken foot. when you play someone into shape they get hurt. But he is being a pro. You might not like the results but thats a different subject.

Neither really had a camp. simms is really not that good. Be honest. We expect so little that as long as he is not a total fuck up we all about our rooks. He will get better. How much? I Dunno.

After a bad loss we kick them to the Curb. BING BONG!

Turner would be a pretty big improvement because he moves better side/side. He also has better timing on his blocks but I watch his box scores pretty regularly and he can put some pretty EMPTY box scores out there.

Price for Turner would depend.

If it were Mitch/Knox for Turner I’d probably do it but even Knox is a guy we’ve just buried at such a young age (frustrating).

Noel is ELITE at 2 things — hedging/poking on the high pick/roll and at defending drives right at the rim.

Outside of the above 2 things he is a BRUTAL basketball player who completely impairs all other basketball operations. LOL

The pacers will want the farm for Turner. That means RJ, IQ, Obi and picks and probably more

F that
