John Wall
Ben Simmons
Damian Lilliard
I swear to Alba, you have got to be drunk.

how so? Three guys, middle level salaries, middling production. FAR easier to trade them than a John Wall.
I'll keep these guys and hope that they can turn the corner.

What does everyone know about the NBA it’s a star driven league. They Knicks have failed at getting top tier stars you know the stars that make it a winning organization. They haven’t been getting them in the draft. Can’t blame Knicks fans man. Anyways if I’m not mistaken the Kenna and Fournier moves were somewhat of a starphucking. Once again bottom of the totem pole pick ups that basically sets the organization back.
Personally I would like to add Simmons he makes others better. Sure he has his faults he plays defense and makes the passes and rebounds. That is e player this team is missing. To go with Randle and RJ.

Anyone going there is a desperate starphuch. When you go “dump randle” and think Westbrook is really just in a bad way. Other symptoms are not talkig about Durant who is amazing, and Harden who may never return to MVP level, but thats really not needed for them and father time always wins. Kyrie is an after thought.
I don’t get the turning on Rj either. He is 21. what happens is we see such progress and then realize his right hand is a work in progress.
Blame. I don’t get how its seen as a one issue thing. Media is not lying its just not proportionate. The POst is a piece of crap rag so why am I suprised. Did the times stop following them? I don’t get the POst + service or Newsday. NY times does not have coverage on knicks anymore.
I don’t get football anymore. Parity and few must see players anymore. Used to be a big hockey fan. Nope. Baseball? Could not tell you a single player on more than half the teams. Did not watch any world series this year.
I do follow F1 racing the last few seasons. My son got me into it. Amazon prime before Netflix did the “Drive to survive” series did a thing on McClaren and it was really good. About 2 hours in 4 parts. I like that ESPN does it live and I DVR it. The broadcasts have not commercials which is cool. Some races are boring, but thats true of all events. There are like 23 races. Qualifying for some is fun to watch. Im not there yet.
I get that.
I don’t get college football either. But I understand.
I don’t get my interest in knicks. league pass and abundance of info pulled me back. This site pulled me back over the years. Even if its hindsight I would love to know more about the inside plans and how decisions were made. I get it can’t give away proprietary intelligence but looking back it would be nice to know what the thinking was at that moment.
I would all for trading for Lillard if he was under 28 and in his prime. But he's 31 and in the race with Randle for Most Declined Player of the Year this season. He's averaging 21.6 on 39/30.

obsolete game jerseys
I still don’t understand why people buy jerseys. They are expensive and players change teams all the time
You can buy a regular shirt with the team logo at a 1/3 of the price and it looks nicer

I'm with you in not getting football and baseball. I just lost all interest in the games. Slowly my love of basketball is also fading. I hated the off-season moves. Hard to imagine a near-term turnaround. Thibs loves his faded vets and, quite frankly, I'm not in love with what passes for yutes these days either.
We badly need to have lightening strike mid-season or its going to be a long one.
Ford vs Ferrari was a damned fun film.
There will never be a star player we could get that would make everyone here happy. If lebron was a Knick he would be picked apart. Same thing with KD. Giannis would have long been criticized for not being a closer due to his jumper. Zion and Luka, forget about it. Too fat and soft on defense. Obviously Simmons would be treated worse than Randle and melo.

Fans forget the first phase of Steph. The ankles and the surgery. We’d have traded him to Denver in the Melo deal? He did not hold up.
Then the MVP incredible phase.
Then they beat the snot out of him.
Now he back with beef. He is 33 and now defying father time for now.
If Portland keeps him I suspect them might shut him down and let him heal, then let him rehab over the summer.
I don’t get how 1248 and Phic think they can get away with talking nonsense and when called out still keep at it. This is largely a well informed group about many things. Hope we don’t get over run by more of these fictional types.

Knicks Jeopardy: The answer to “Why have the knicks been a mediocre franchise for so long?” It’s really embarrassing to have a team that represents the Mecca of basketball. NYC suppose to have the best guards in the world. But not if you look at the last 10 -15 point guards we’ve had.
We’ve changed FO, coach, players. It’s time to settle on something and go for it. This FO and coach is solid. But they also have room for improvement just like the players.

Alan Hahn mentioned him tonight - Fournier's three years or westbrook's two.
He even mentioned John Wall before checking himself into the straitjacket.
Fournier, Noel, Mitch, Kemba... all waiting for the courtesy phone call.
I don’t get why nobody is lamenting about Reggie Jackson NOT signing here? Cuz he not having a good season.
WE do this all the time. Fornier is a “bust” after a bad start and we froth at Derozen who we panned as old and can’t play defense. Lavine and Vooch are all stars. He brings the third.

The whiff on DeRozen is a mystery.
I like players with attitude - still think Reggie Jackson would have been a better chemistry fit than Kemba.
