Pacers moving Brogdan?

Not tradeable this year.

I would have given up Randle a pick and Quick for Hali. If that trade was at all possible.

would you take back Buddy and Tristan?

martin @ 2/8/2022 2:00 PM
I can see this

Allanfan20 @ 2/8/2022 2:01 PM
WTF is that $hit. The needs could have used both Sabonis and Hali. What is Leon Rose doing exactly?

Man, this is a very good question. I been starving for a legit PG for way too long. I think I have to say yes.

sounds a bit one-sided IMO. Especially if we were thinking Fox. His shooting % is as much down as Randle's and purportedly he came in heavier this year which isn't the best for a guy who relies on speed.

All that said I am stunned they moved Haliburton and not Fox. I assumed they would have buyer's remorse on Fox's huge contract

For the Knicks I would prefer no deal to a bad/desperate deal

I agree. Ty Haliburton was at the top of my list of kind of available PGs. Dejaunte Murray was a close second, but his All Star season makes that unlikely.

I would too…. Any reasonable fan would

I am honestly both disgusted and disappointed by the FO and coaching staff I don’t expect it to get better. At this point they might do something drastic that is either too much or not enough and try to pretend it’s worth something.CJ or Haliburton are exactly the pieces they need and expect them to go for but we’re stuck with Julius Marbury for the rest of the season.

Julius ***king Marbury

Caseloads @ 2/8/2022 2:31 PM
would you go for Sexton "lil kyrie"? He's injured and supposedly the Cavs want to keep him - could just be posturing. I'd give up Kemba and a pick for him

He’s not as talented as Haliburton or as good a fit as Tyrese either.

It’s so much bad decisions made

This team spent the most money in FA and they have the 10th worst record in the NBA. That is disgusting

The COY last year is getting outcoached every game and his vets can’t hold a lead like a team of rookies. That’s disappointing

The MIP from last year has devolved into Marbury 2.0 and has no value in spite his talent because the coach and FO baby him and he has tantrums damn near every game. That’s disgusting

Now they are liable to try and trade a bunch of second rounders for Eric Gordon so they can bury the youth deeper on the bench, but get injured Derrick Rose one of his best running buddies. That’s disappoint

This is the 2021 Knicks = Disgusting and Disappointing

SergioNYK @ 2/8/2022 2:48 PM
I'm not a big Haliburton fan. He's solid but I don't see anything special or a future All-Star. He hasn't exactly moved any needles there. I thought Sacramento preferred him over Fox anyway. But Sabonis is a beast and All-Star level player in his prime. Kings are like Knicks West and have a tough time getting stars to sign there so getting a player of Sabonis level and age is good for them. Sacramento won this trade imo unless I'm selling Haliburton's potential short.

Yes, mostly because this team has needed a PG my entire adult life… and even with the lottery pick they get this year, there aren’t any high quality PG. TyTy (if they can get him) could just end up being IQ 2.0. The Knicks pulled a 2008 and draft a PF in the year where everybody was saying it’s a great PG draft. They got clear cap space and not extend Mitch to have a chance at Brunson. It’s stupidity.

Nalod @ 2/8/2022 3:08 PM
Why is Sabonis being moved? could not be paired with Turner?
Why Haliburton over Brogdon?

The assumption is either was just there for us and our FO is just stupid? Inept? Sleepy?
The other teams don't see what Randles Shit attitude is right now?
Are we even shopping Randle seriously?

We have 13 players on guaranteed contracts next season, one 1st rd pick and Mitch. That’s 15 and doesn’t include Sims, 2nd rd pick of our stash guy. We are cap fckef and zero flexibility. Things are looking bleak. We absolutely have to make a trade by the dead line or in the summer. Halliburton would have been a nice addition. This front ofice is really committed to Randle. I just don’t get it

WTF!!!! Sac-town traded Haliburton??? I like Fox, but Haliburton is/was there best all around pg on the roster! Wow! Had no idea he was available...and to think they traded him for a PF

how about Sabonis... who's shooting like 58%, and gets you 19/12/5 a night on 12 FG attempts.

Lets do the mirror test... if Sac can get THAT, WHY would they instead take Randle? WHY WHY WHY

Do YOU guys prefer Randle over Sabonis? How about RJ and Randle? would you do that?

As mad as we are that trade is like if we sent RJ out for CJ McCollum. At least we can say we are better than the Kings…
