I just see Randle Cook Sabonis damn near every game they play. He’s not head or tails above Randle and I would argue the Pacers are just as badly built a team as the Knicks are when it comes to fit. The only real different is Randle has been putting on a Marbury act all season once the trade rumors started and the Knicks never tried to check him.

Well, if Randle was playing like last years Randle, Sac might have been interested. And we would not be interested. So it looks like either way, Haliburton for Sabonis, was bound to happen, regardless what the knicks did. Unless we offered more picks. But Sabonis right now is playing better than Randle, so that might have been the tipping point.

Also, Sabonis offense is not the #1 option and he's ok with that. Randle from the outside operates like a #1 but his performance is like a 6th man. Plus Randle's trade value is low and Sabonis is high.

i have no idea what the kings are doing nor what the knicks could have or would have offered up. seems like if they could give up some possible protected picks for reddish, maybe they would have gone further to get in place over the pacers. too late now. this may get real interesting if they cant unload anyone. what happens to reddish? what happens if/when rose gets back? they still have time to pull off something.

no the difference is Sabonis is younger, holds the ball less and its much MUCH more eff% than Randle. Go look at Sabonis FG% and how many shots a game he takes vs. PPG and then look at Randle's and come back to me.

He also gets cooked all the time defensively and he can’t shoot. Randle is better, he’s just been becoming Marbury 2.0

Exactly that, rumored. Just like in free agency, we're reportedly interested in everyone looking for their payday.

Knicks have young pieces and a whole lot of picks. Why wouldn't Sacramento want news out there about our interest to drive up the asking price?

I really don't believe we'd be looking at another wing, unless we're consolidating Burks/Fournier and drastically upgrading. It doesn't make sense, and our FO has been very level headed to date.

I'm sure it won't be the last rumor we hear before Thursday, whether there's any basis for it or not.

First off I wouldn’t take any rumor Berman post as legitimate he probably made that up for click bait .

Knicks should be making calls about unloading EF, Burks, Kemba but don’t do anything stupid like take on a contract like CJ, Westbrook, wall. Let’s not panic EF and burks will have the same trade value they do now in the off season .

Although I’d love to see all of them gone at the deadline to make room for the youth . Let’s not get FU cked in the process.
