Knicks · Next big time Knicks PG Alondes Williams 6-6 210 Wake forest (page 1)

BRIGGS @ 2/19/2022 12:32 AM

Take Davis merherin or Keegan Murray up in the top 10 and use our 38 pick to move up to acquire Alondes

Looks like a good passer, i didn't see them run any sets, he just looks for an open man. Definitely has passing instincts. I thought there were no PG in this coming draft?

There are two 6-5+ Pgs in major college basketball shooting 50% while averaging 20 points and he’s one of them. Excellent long powerful athlete to the hoop. Shooting 62% from 2 point range. Upper tier completion. Very good handle passing ability ands vision for 6-5. Excellent rebounding skill best rebounding pg in cbb. Downsides are defensive awareness/intensity and his college turn over rate is high — both easily adjusted. I wish we still held the Charlotte pick I’d feel pretty good we’d have a chance for both players

No other pg like this in the draft
Over 6-5 with long arms/217 pound nba ready body
Avg 20-6-5 shooting over 53%
Very athletic
Great vision/ good ball handling/ very good passer
Leads winning team in one of best conf
Very fast/ long end to end
Best finisher for a pg in draft shooting 65_% on 2s
Excellent rebounder
Respectable 3 point shooter
Nba ready
Upside is high. Nba star pg potential imho

Defensive awareness/intensity easily adjusted?
Kevin Knox, Obi Toppin and Evan Fournier say "hi"

I wish we had the Charlotte pick

If I map out something realistic

I’d map out
Keegan Murray
Alondrs Williams
Kofi cockburn
And Kellen Grady ( nit drafted for g league)

No projects all big body physical athletes all good rebounders and high out put efficient scoring with a high % 3 point shooter as a westchester project out of the draft

I am not worried about this FO getting an extra pick if they need to- they seem to have managed just fine in that department.

I’m willing to do a lot to acquire him in draft. He’s the pg we’ve tried to get for 20 years

Caseloads @ 3/4/2022 12:21 PM
this is the guy. I'd take him at #8 or 9 if we end up there. we need a big PG. Jaden Ivey would be great, but he's likely to go top 2 or 3, maybe even #1.

We could use the Charlotte pick back

he's not going past 15 in my opinion.

Actually watching that video, I think we’ll be lucky to get him with our own pick at 8-10.

March Madness and then work outs, combine, all have a way of winnowing out some of the top prospects. This kid looks legit. I don’t want Tyty Washington because he is too small for the NBA, where you have to switch and have strength to shoot long distance all night.

Ayo dosumno was picked around 40 and he’s been a top 10 rookie and probably the best pg so far from 2021 draft. Older players go later in the draft. If we pick 37-38 we can use that pick to move up a bit to acquire.
I think we can get a Sf in the top 10 that could also help us greatly for many years

Don’t we already have Reddish & Barrett? And OBi? & Burke!

If I am the Knick FO, I am drafting 100% need which is a PG, and I am picking the best PG for my team. I’m not messing around with trying to scoop the player up later if I think I can.

Caseloads @ 3/8/2022 9:42 AM
he's getting a lot of attention... will keep rising as long as he performs during march madness.
Knixkik @ 3/10/2022 9:56 PM
He’s likely a 2nd round pick so very gettable.

Huh? He's projected in the 50s. He's 22 and his shooting sucks and I suspect he's a poor defender as well.
