Reminds me more of Ben Wallace

Agree, I do see some Wallace in Sims

I’m beginning to think that the Knicks don’t mind if Mitch leaves on a contract that is outsized for his value to Knicks (especially if the can get a trade exception) when they have a min player whose output may not be that different and may be long term better.

Mitch is definitely a better shot-blocker, but I agree that Sims looks like he can give us alot of what Mitch brings. However, my concern is that the Knicks could have traded Mitch at the deadline and got a 1st round pick for him at least. They still may be able to do a sign and trade that nets them a second round pick or more, but they can't let Mitch walk for nothing. That would be a devastating missed opportunity.

It’s unfair to compare anyone to Mitch as a shot blocker. Mitch is excellent at swatting. Sims is developing into a good low post defender in his own right. I think the better comp would be Sims and Kenyon Martin

Seems like finding out that Patrick Beverly was better than Linsanity was alot more than 8 years ago...

Are you secretly moonlighting as a real estate agent?

Lin was the original topic of the post I'm responding to. HoftraBBall put in the extra effort digging up 8 year old tweets. Respect!

I really think it was the lack of crowds in the season before last that allowed him to better focus. We see from this past season he is aware of the crowd's reaction to his play.

Wish he focused and became aware of a defensive rotation.
