I take all these reports right now with a grain of salt, but am I reading we are trading a lottery pick to dump an expiring $9M contract?

Will give benefit of doubt that there's more to it, but holy hell if true...

We traded the 11 for 3 future firsts

Then we traded one of thos future firsts and two future 2nds to get rid of Kemba for cap space.

So on net we ended up with 2 future firsts and cap space for 11, Kemba and some 2nds.

So to cap it off, front office makes dumb signings, then uses the draft to make lateral moves while cleanint up past mistakes to make room for future mistakes.

This is so tiring.

That seems high for 9mm but who we sign with it will matter.

Side note, lots of emotions for these kids. These are covid kids in high school and a path not known.

Those future 1st are conditional, could be a couple years away, devaluing them..also likely lottery protected, so we'll likely NEVER get a player of the caliber of who we'd pick with the #11 pick. We PAID to free cap space due to incompetence.

This... Rose po'd the crowd that is excited for the young rebuild for the crowd who wants a free agent, likely not going to make us any better and we'll AGAIN be struck with a bloaded contract, IF we even get one.
