Goddamit Marc. Now I'm back to half chub. This is a joke. We all know that most FA deals are already done. Let's go!

If the knicks pull this off bringing in Murray and Brunson, it will be quite a turnaround for the knicks from a team with big PG question mark to a team some nba executives think will have an intriguing backcourt. Please Leon make this happen, at the very least you add pieces that can be attractive assets for a big superstar deal down the road.

Murray nearly averaged a triple double last year: 21ppg, 9apg, 8rpg, 2spg on 46%fg. He’s a stud.

But what about all the experts on the Knicks forums that think he is overrated? Lol 😂

Don't like the ellipsis in "...secures Brunson's signature". Makes it sound like a euphemism for something.

It certainly means they left out some words though if you think of it as a timely pause, it could take a sinister feel -- make him an offer...he cannot refuse.

Yes, aware, but I voluntarily choose the more entertaining reading.

I don’t understand pairing him with Brunson. And then add RJ and Randle and it makes even less sense. Think the Spurs are just playing games, and the Knicks don’t have serious interest.

I don’t think Pops would pee on the Knicks if they were on fire. There’s no way they do a deal with us

Maybe a older regime but he’s been very cordial to the current regime and Thibs especially whose coached under him on team USA.

With that said I don’t think this is really happening.

Marc is pretty reliable

It’s a wings league.

If you can get a 25 year old All Star you pull the trigger. Give them the four first rounders, reddish, IQ and get the deal done.

Interesting point. You are probably right. Let’s get our PG. A backcourt of Brunson Murray would be the best pairing we’ve had in decades.

Oh wow it’s really happening…

not trying to throw gas on the fire for those screaming tear it down but it's a bit ironic that Murray is a late first rounder and Jalen is an early second and they're supposed to be the great new pgs given how many much higher first rounders we've skunked on: Frank, DSJ, Mudiay, Elfrid

everything else being equal, sure you want to pick earlier, but it's not a substitute for having an eye for talent, heart and soul and then developing that

Back to thread topic I am more than intrigued by these developments. Do we really pursue both or pivot to one

I am a bit iffy on this for the hawks. It has Steve Francis/Marbury vibes.
