Knicks · trades for KD (page 3)

If KD goes to the Heat, it will be interesting to see if LeBron re-ups, or goes to Miami. Forms another superteam with KD, to end his career.

LeBron is a billionaire now. He might take a discount to create the right conditions for a few years of contention with KD. Also loves LA, but Miami would probably be an easy move for James, and his family.

Miami is apparently making a serious push for Durant. I think LeBron will join KD there, if he isnt happy about how next season plays out in LA.

Wont be hard finding good players, willing to take a discount to join them. If thats what happens.

I always get the impression Lebron wants to play with Curry.

Thats a good point, remember LeBron alluding to his respect for Curry. Not sure he would want to do what KD did, join a squad that really doesnt need him.

Durant would need his help. If anyone can pull it off, its Riley.

Lakers need to blow it up. GSW got the assets for Lebron...

Why? Because he’s a front running clown who can’t win a championship without colluding to make a superteam?

Woj was on ESPN this am. Said that talks with Boston are heating up.

Edit: Not close to happening, but a willingness to part with Jaylen Brown.

What superteam did Lebron ever go to?
He went to teams and created that “super”.
Miami had Wade.
Lakers had nobody.
He made Cleveland, they restocked. Hardly super. Then they won.
Lakers made Davis trade after lebron signed there.

Rookie has his opinion. Maybe he reads Lebron has respect for him.
But, Lebron was the man who had one of the most impressive performances in the finals that took down the 73-9 GSW!
its all good that you may be a Jordan fan and childishly need to support that. Some like to talk about what Lebron has not done. Which is one thing, not win all teh finals he crawled his teams to. The dude went to 10 NBA finals. He lost 6 or did not win 6? Same thing. JOrdan went to 6 in 15 seasons of play. Lebron 10 in 20 years.
Not saying “be a fan”. But don’t be stupid.
“But jordan never went to a super team”. Neither did Lebron.
Jordan also played in an era were no other team could come close to paying him what he made his last seasons in Chicago. 30mil!!!!! Ewing was second with 18mil!!! Jordan wanted to be paid his worth. Can’t fault him.
Jordan did not get along with his GM. Lebron tries to be his own GM and in the age of empowerment at least respect he gained that.
I respect he went back to CLE and got them a chip. Even after Gilbert dissed him.

Two careers, different eras. Jordan stands with Russell as a goat if Chips are the deal. 11 out of 13. Is russell any less than Jordan because the lack of perfections?

It is some opinion that in the aftermath of expansion and talent dilution Bulls had no peers.
Lets not forget Tony Kukoc is a HOF player! 3 years they had HOF Rodman. TO their credit, they had a really good team and coach.

Lebron can’t match the imperfection of not being perfect. But, the greatest regular season team, the 73-9 GSW met their defeat by a super human at the prime of his powers. The only thing that could stop them was that kind of player. not Jordans fault they had no peer or true rival. Knicks tested them a few times but never did it.

Different eras with different ramifications. Mad respect for the Bulls. Great roster and great vision by Krause who hired untested Phil.

Thats right, the team was not super until he signed with them. That team was last place the year before.
Durant joined a championship caliber team when went to GSW. Thats front running.
Now you know what it means. Your welcome.
