Knicks · I got my wish: No more Kemba Walker and especially Evan Fournier as our Starting Backcourt @ PG/SG. (page 2)

Guess the BBall Gods went bowling..

Still might happen, glad the Knicks arent bidding against themselves. If they were, the deal probably would have been done by now.

Does it make sense for Durant to Boston, DM to nets, and Brown to Utah? Is Brown on par with DM? Better off staying With DM? Can Utah get a bit more to take Brown? Nets get more marketable player in DM vs Brown?
Does ainge not want any all star to build around and have to pay in a few years? just a massive haul of picks to deal/draft/trade with?
Utah got burned by losing Haywood for nothing. Different ownership then but the franchise got hurt.
Seems they want to go the way of OKC?

Yoooo.

I couldn't be happier and/or any more excited.

NYC BASKETBALL IS BACK.

So when's the Donovan intro press conference?

Lakers? They barely have enough assets to get a chopped cheese sandwich. OKC, Toronto and Orlando are more credible darkhorses and I don't see the interest from their end.

I rather just Wait and see. Mitchell isn’t the last star player going to be made available for a trade. Yeah Jaylen Brown’s ask is Durant so we don’t have a chance, but it shows that star players still hit the market.

Is Brown=to DM?

I don't think Brown is on the market but part of the ask from nets for durant.

Silver is on the phone with Ainge right now trying to get Mitchell to the lakers

“Just trade Mitchell for Westbrook and I promise you the first pick overall next 3 draft lotteries.”

Ainge would be like "No!"in that scenario. "I want #1 overall for the next three drafts!" The deal would never get done.

Whatever the outcome, wags would term it as a "fail" for the Knicks.

If Mitchell gets traded to anywhere but here the Knick haters in the media will be hyperventilating for weeks aboutbus not trading our entire roster for him

The Jazz get the next 3 years of draft lotteries rigged for them. If all 3 players aren’t rookie of the year Ainge gets another 5 first round picks

You pretend your not influenced by much of it?

Where has the Jazz or Ainge received this golden treatment you so accuse the league of providing?
You just harped on Media for their “hate” but you got this conspiracy bit going with a daft sarcastic spin.

KNicks/Brock are tough to trade with... overly value conscience. Ainge is in the silly zone. Its not looking like it will happen which based on the cost/players involved I am fine with

Think the price Knicks would consider a win would be 4 firsts and one of the yougins. Plus a contract to unload.(Rose) So maybe Rose, Topping, 4 picks. Of course the Jazz want more and are in no rush. They probably want 5 picks, two youngins and a contract they can flip. So 5 picks, Tipping, Grimes, Rose.
Think at the end it will be something like 4 firsts, Obi, Cam, Rose with a third team incolved for Rose that gives Utah more draft capital.

Saw an article that made more sense if this happens. We would essentially be left we our perennial starters in RJ, Randle and Mitch while adding Brunson and DM. Our second unit would be IQ, Grimes, EF, Hart and Sims. Not too shabby. We can still try to trade EF for a SF but I think we need shooters. And he proved he is one.

they just got 6 picks for Gobert... I have heard 6-8 FRPs and 3 young players. Obi and a bunch of picks with protection is not a good trade for them. They should walk away with min 2 starters and 6 FRPs... which is why we make sense. We can give 3 of the aquired + 3 of our own and 2-3 starters in IQ/Obi/Grimes. Utah is not taking less.. Ainge would be a fool to
