Cam Reddish seems like a better fit then any potential trade pick up. Team should play Cam and tell his agent this is the best way for him to earn his next deal with someone else. Knicks bite the bullet with him as a expiring but get some use of him down the stretch.

Don't get my hopes up. Since Hofstra is a big boy, I'll let him do the honors when that day comes.
This is what disarray looks like.
https://www.basketballinsiders.com/news/...Drama Continues To Brew In Toronto As Nick Nurse Had ‘Intense’ One-On-One Meetings With Players
Besides the unlikely NBA championship in 2019, the Toronto Raptors are not a team that is thought of as having an incredible amount of success. The same can be said for the 2022-23 Raptors this season. Pascal Siakam and Toronto hold a 16-21 record which is twelfth in the Eastern Conference. We’ve seen reports of drama brewing between head coach Nick Nurse and some of his players. Now there’s even more reports of the situation getting worse.
An article from the Toronto Sports Network reported that Nurse held individual one-on-one meetings with his players over the weekend. It’s never a good sign when a coach has to call meetings with players. It hints that the coach has somewhat lost the locker room and is trying to rebuild relationships.
Nick Nurse could be on the hot seat as he is losing control of the locker room
There have already been reports this season of Nick Nurse calling out his players publicly and that clearly did not go over well. He’s called out Gary Trent Jr. for his effort on the defensive end and even called out Chris Boucher for his poor play in general. You just can’t be making those comments to the media about your players. Keep that stuff in-house and find a way to get your message across a different way.
An article from the TSN explains hot it might not be so easy for Nurse and his team to turn the season around after the drama that has transpired.
“Over the weekend, Nurse held individual meetings with many of his players and coaches, conversations that were described as ‘intense’ and weren’t universally well received,” – Josh Lewenberg
This could end up being a huge season for Nurse and his future with the Raptors. He’s going to have to find a way to win the locker room back and earn the respect of his players again.
Raptors were down 16 with 1:14 left and forced OT.

It's nice to see that we can be as inept as the best teams in the NBA. We back!
ATL and Trae young demise is interesting.
While Young might be the next Starbury, I do feel bad for the ATL GM. Yes, our very own Landry Fields!
Trae has a 200mil contract. The man owns a few houses now and recently bought a 20mil Calabassas property.
Now, I don’t know the mans finances but Im assuming half go to taxes, fees, and union dues. Property taxes and upkeep are not cheap. Im happy the young man got engaged and enjoying his money but 10% before taxes to buy a property is not good idea. Investment? Maybe. But property taxes and upkeep are rarely discussed and big money properties don’t always make money either.
Ok, does that affect his basketball? We’ll, he is being a bit of a shit and his team is not doing well.
Then it matters! Got Lakers written all over this guy.

Oh wow I missed this: Miami lost to LAL without LeBron and AD?

And Celtics got blown out by okc without SGA.
Here’s some interesting things I’ve noticed. Okc is 3-1 this year without SGA. This is the guy most feel is worth the package we considered for Mitchell. Okc (small size I know) has been better without him and many okc fans feel like he stalls the offense.
Also, Siakam is having a career year, OG Anunoby has become a player many here are obsessed with due to the skill profile, and Toronto also has allstar FVV and Barnes who they refuse to deal for KD, yet they don’t have a good record.
Knicks fans are programmed to believe the grass is always greener, but I really think outside of the Doncic, Jokic, Embiid, Steph, KD level players, you won’t find anyone to trade for that is a guarantee to raise the ceiling beyond what is currently is. Just my take.

I won't say Toronto flubbed the Barnes pick, but I don't how "special" a player he'll end up being. Right now he's looking like Ben Simmons with a better jumpshot. Not saying that Barnes is good shooter, just better than Simmons. Maybe they should've considered that KD trade...

Barnes value peaked last summer. It’s still high I’m sure but won’t get any higher. He has declined this year so far.
