Terrible win
WP76 @ 11/4/2022 9:33 PM
Toppin and Reddish played essential roles in this win.
ramtour420 @ 11/4/2022 9:33 PM
Whew
BigDaddyG @ 11/4/2022 9:33 PM
I know the competition without Joel and Harden being out, but I can't remember Thibs coaching a better game in recent history.

Very exciting, Grimes with key minutes as well

I like it

People have been slandering Obi and his 3pt. He finished the year strong - he has great form and strength. Right now, if we need a 3, I am going with Obi.

WTF?

Great win. Stopped the bleeding. We're at .500 which was what most of us expect for the team. Are you also upset that Randle had a huge rebound and made his free throws?

I just don't get it.

Clean @ 11/4/2022 9:37 PM

Obi stans eating good. Shout out to Thibs for trying new stuff until he found something that worked.
franco12 @ 11/4/2022 9:38 PM
I also think I saw in this game that we can't go 10 deep. Obi and Cam impact the game in so many ways - not perfect.

I love Fournier, but he is probably odd man out. Same for Rose.

And honestly, Grime's stats weren't so great here.

Grimes is not going to be consistently good for awhile. This is now his preseason.

I can't believe I said we should tank! Clearly a title contender 😤 Just joking. We should still try tanking for Wemba or the Thompson twins.

The man is averaging 10 points in 16 mins per. They need to find minutes during these offensive draughts.

Obi's just as likely to shoot the air ball as he is to sink the 3. But that's like 50% shooting so I'll fucking take it!

It took a strong 4th quarter effort, but the Knicks finally overcame Sergio's jinx threads, and won the game.

Was in the camp that Obi/Randle wasnt a good idea, will be happy to be wrong, if this keeps up.
Mitch hurt again, early in the season. Would'nt mind seeing a Rolo for Simms trade. He's older but can still give a team productive minutes off the bench. He also sets picks better than anyone on the team right now.

Not so sure starting Grimes right after coming off an injury. Having to defend starters right off the bat, was a good idea. Would have waited to sit Fournier, would have pulled him sooner in the first quarter, before benching him this early.

When Brunson isnt hitting his shots, and not playmaking, he's an average PG. Dont expect him to turn into a pass first PG. A pass a little more PG would be nice. Like Ramtour said in another thread, drive and kick.

Agreed. If we win lots of games like this I’ll start rooting for the Nets.

Or you'll go into cardiac arrest.

That’s how I feel. I wish I didn’t care so much.

Obi and Cam just saved Thibs job tonight
Knixkik @ 11/4/2022 10:03 PM
I was against the Randle/ Toppin lineups with Mitch and hart both healthy but I have to admit it worked tonight when they needed it. I just felt like it creates as many problem as it solves and only satisfies the “get Obi 20+ mins per game” goal. But what do I know.

And Brunson.
